On Aquavision, at the 2:20 mark on today's practice highlights, Henne throws a pass to a #83 who catches and runs upfield. Pretty sure that's Greg right? He's got a knee brace on...

I didn't realize he was running and practicing already...?

I'm sort of torn on whether I want him to recover quickly or spend the first six weeks on PUP and for us to carry another receiver. We might not have a clear #1, but I think this will shake out to be a DEEP group of receivers and cuts will be difficult.

The blogs say he wasn't working out today. Am I seeing things?

That is a completely asinine statement. It should not matter who the player is (no matter what team) you should wish him a quick recovery.

To say this about a player who left his heart on the field every game and was a great contributing factor to the Dolphins success makes it even worse. It really should not matter if the Dolphins had the next Jerry Rice riding the pine, having a healthy Greg, by no means hurts the Miami Dolphins.

I don't think he meant what you think he meant. My guess is he meant that he is torn between seeing Cam out there running and cutting right now, or just going on PUP to make sure he's fully ready to go.

I don't think he meant he didn't want GC back to full speed ASAP.

Easy there fella. I'm about as big of a GC fan as there is (the guy grew up in my neck of the woods). Obviously I wish him the speediest possible recovery.

But with his injury, I'm pretty sure being placed on PUP would be a good thing for his recovery. It also would have the added bonus of us carrying another receiver who we might otherwise cut or place on the practice squad. So in a way, as much as I don't like GC not being 100% healthy right this second, PUP seems like a safe way to go. He'll win his starting job back as soon as he's 100% - that much we know about Greg.

And I'm pretty damn sure that's GC in the video. Hartline's not around OTA's right now since he hasn't graduated, there are only so many white receivers on the team, and I don't think they'd just give away his number...

Miami has no other player with 83 on his jersey. All our player have asigned numbers and not one is repeated. That is Camarillo.

Greg Camarillo (knee), David Martin (undisclosed injury) and rookie Brennan Marion (undisclosed) are also not working in all the drills today. Camarillo is doing some drills but being being held out of others, particularly the ones that require he cuts on the knee.

Martin and Marrion also participated, just not in all Drills.

My fault man.
I took it the wrong way. To me it sounded like putting Greg on the PUP would be good because we could carry an extra receiver and see who develops. I know see you were just looking for the silver lining in the situation.
My apologies.

83 is definitely Camarillo, good to see him out there competing.

No worries bro!

I'm pretty sure it was him, we only have one number 83, and he was wearing a knee brace.
