Was digging around tonight and thought I'd go see where Cam came from after that awesome game he put up today... funny what Wikipedia has on it, but some pretty interesting tidbits.

* Cam turned down Harvard to go to Stanford.
* His big TD against the Ravens last year was his first TD since high school.
* His big college seasons consisted of 18 catches as a junior and 19 as a senior. His entire college career only added up to 46 receptions for 614 yards.

Kudos to our front office for digging up a guy that was a pretty improbable find at best!

#83.....has made me say Wes Welker Who?????

wow...I jus said the exact same words in another post...... Diamond in the rough

Greg is a flat out stud; hopefully we can finally put to rest the begrudging contention that he's good only when compared to our other receivers. This guy would be good on ANY team, not just this 4-4 one!!!

I can't believed how terrified that corner seemed to be of him. He played way too far off of him and he got eaten alive.

Wasnt Cam Cameron the one that brought him over here? He played for him in SD

You know what, you're right. But, that's still "our FO" in a "our Miami front office" sort of way. All the same to me, I just want to see the Dolphins kick butt again!

Any one see Marshall rant about how his defense played rillo? He was like "How can you play him so loose you see what they are doing , I dont even know what that guy name is and he caught all those passes"

I love watching him play like he's Ronnie Brown! He lowered his shoulder and aimed right at the DB a few times.

Cam Cameron scouted Camarillo when he was in San Diego. There were some things that Cam Cameron thought that made him believe that he can be a receiver at a pro level. One of the players he lobbied for while as a head coach was none but Camarillo himself. While Camarillo has worked hard, he can owe his opportunity to play in the nfl thanks to Cam Cameron. I don't think there were other teams that had any glamor for his abilities other than Cam himself. In fact; one Stanford official asked Camarillo during a Stanford Senior reunion: How does it feel that you are going to play your last organized football game? He asked in a tone as if Camarillo faced the reality that he was not going to be a pro player.
