What the HE$$ was Greg Camarillo thinking when he tossed the ball out of bounds. If would have ran up field rather than running for the side lines, then realizing he cant get out to stop the clock tosses the ball out of bounds. End result 5 yd penalty and loss of down but more importantly loss of momentum. There was more then 2 mins on the clock with the offense driving with 2 timeouts, no need to even think about of getting out of bounds. Turn the ball up field and fight for yardage.

A complete game changing play and a very moronic play from Camarillo.:crazy:
 
Yeah it was dumb but I give him credit for the effort in trying to keep us in the game. Not to mention he played his heart out for us ALL game long unlike many others......I give him a pass on that play simply because he was trying to help his team, it just ended up biting us in the butt.
 
Maybe it's just me, but it looked to me that he was stretching for the sideline and lost the handle on the ball. To me it did not look like he threw it out of bounds.

I agree, I couldn't believe he got penalized for that, even if he meant to you can't say 100% for sure that he purposely tossed the ball out.

I agree. I thought the same thing. He was just trying to touch the ball out of bounds and dropped the ball. I did not see anything that made me thing he tried to throw it out.
 
That was a bad call IMO. Maybe he was doing it but then again we had over 2 minutes to play IIRC so why in the hell would you even attempt to do that with the two minute warning coming up?? Secondly it would have been like 2nd and 5.

Amazing how we absolutely discarded fundamentals in the second half. THAT falls on the coaches in terms of discipline.

Yes I agree it was a questionable call. The Refs decided to judge that his "intent" was to throw the ball out of bounds. Just like every other questionable call in the game other than the one in the first quarter went against the Dolphins.

Not to mention that at that point you want the clock to run down.. at midfield with over 2 minutes was perfect pacing, you want to score with absolutely no time left for NO to get the ball back.
 
That was a horrible call!! He didnt intentionally throw the ball out of bounds.. he lost the handle as he was stretching for the sideline. Even so, it wasn't a damn forward pass, it went sideways. I blame camarillo tho, he easily has the first down if he just runs forward, why try to get out of bounds with the 2 minute warning and 3 timeouts left. One play in a ridiculous 2nd half!!
