So if you were coach Sparano, what would you do to correct bonehead plays like his in OT. I mean, that was just stupid.

what was stupid? touching a down defender when the whistle hasn't blown to make sure he doesn't get up and continue running?

I know he was making sure he was down but all he had to do was touch him. He ran right into him and allowed the refs to make that call even if it was questionable.

Yeah, what a ****ing stupid play, trying to make sure the guy wouldn't get up and run for the winning TD. :rolleyes2: You realize how terrible a call that was right?

This isn't debatable. It was a horse-**** call.

Give me a break. This isn't ballet!

Call it what you want... but the reality is he did enough to give the refs reason to call something when all he had 2 do was touch him

i don't fault camarillo for that play. he didn't hit him or anything crazy - there was no malicious intent whatsoever. he was just making sure griffin didn't get up. the refs were out of their damn minds with that call. bad calls playing a role in games like that are why people can't stand referees - myself included.

I do realize that. What I'm trying 2 say is he gave the refs enough of a reason to call something when all he had 2 do is touch the guy. Don't let emotions get in the way of logical thinking...

lol point taken... i dont like the call as much as everyone else doesnt. but cmon, can you really say it wasnt enough for the refs to make a call? how bout just touch the guy and dont let them even get a chance to make a bonehead call.
