plays out ok. Meaning, Quinn better not turn out to be a superstar and Beck flops. OR, Culpepper doesn't catch on somewhere else and play really well. I'm not saying that will happen, but there's alot of shuffling thats going on with this team and the QB position over the last year, for his job's sake he better hope the cards fall his way, at least partly. Oh yeh, and you can add Green to the mix as well.

dont got much to say, i was going to say everything u said

Seriously, im sick and tired of having a **itty QB. Im not saying i want a pro bowler , but atleast someone who can put up decent #s like
200 - 250 yds, 1TD a game and no INTS for gods sake

Maybe there is alot of shuffling because we stunk last year. Ever think that could be the reason? C Pep's injury was the end of him.

Last thing we are going to worry about is players that are not on our roster. Culpepper, Quinn, etc, will not be playing for the Dolphins in 2007. What ever success they have outside of our organizations means nothing to the Dolphins.

All I have to say for Culpepper is, what have you done for us? Nothing? Okay, good luck somewhere else and wish you the best, you do not fit our new system and Scott Linehan isn't here.

This is a new era. We're doing things right for once.

That's BS. He is just attempting to clean up Sabans mess!!

Ain't that the truth?

I don't think Cameron's legacy will be decided this year but rather 3 years down the road. Will Ginn be making big plays on offense? Will Jonh Beck be a viable starting QB in the league? These are a few things that will define his early tenure with the team. Trent Green is just a stepping stone for Cam, not someone that will make or break his first head coaching job.

You're missing the point. Cameron PASSED on Quinn for Beck. Now, that could be the right move, but alot of analysts AND fans were disappointed after the draft with the decision.

AND, he decided Culpepper is done here in Miami rather than have him compete for the starting job with Green. Whats wrong with a competition for the QB job? Thats just my view.

The quinn/beck scenario has NOTHING to do with Saban. The culpepper situation has a little more to do with that, but we never saw a healthy daunte compete, so we'll never know.

Exactly

Cullpepper will have no luck anywhere he needs all star wr to be a good QB and i dont think Quinn is going to have a good first year but he will evuantly be good

There is a salary cap involved, and keeping a QB that may not be 100% by opening day...if ever, is a luxary no NFL team that wants to compete can take on.

The past couple of years has really sucked. Each year we bring in a new QB and they pretty much flop. We have to start to get some stability at this position. Not sure if any of these guys on the team are the answer or not. I'm sick of getting my hope up every year with the QB. This year I will take a wait and see approach.

I think Beck vs Quinn is the least of Cameron's worries. Beck is better than Quinn in nearly every aspect (and I only use 'nearly' simply to give Quinn the benefit of the doubt) of playing the QB position and Cameron knows it. No need to be worried over that one.

If Culpepper is healthy, however - he is at the very least as good a QB as Trent Green, plus he's younger.
