And now all of a sudden you know more than him. How many qb's have any of you developed ? Cameron knows what he's doing. You might have to face the fact that Quinn was over-rated. You can listen to the media or you can trust your coach who doesn't earn his pay check talking about football. He earns his money building football teams.

There's obviously something behind the scenes that turned Miami off to Quinn, and we may never know what, so I totally know where you're comming from. But I think most of the fans, including myself, wanted to see the start of the Cameron/Quinn Era.

The last QB we drafted in the 1st round was Dan Marino.....and when I heard about Quinn and the record Cameron has with young QB's, I personally thought this was a godsend for us....but with C-pep, most likely Trent Green and now Josh Beck (maybe it could be the Cameron/Beck Era??), and now a great WR/KR......I like our chances in the future.

way to go bang on...I will be the first to admit that I wanted Quinn, but Ginn is a playmaker / diffrence maker.. Cameron knows how to develop QB's you could even say it's his specialty....

Yup, face it Quinn was overrated. From what I've heard both Quinn and Beck spent plenty of time with the Miami coaching staff. I think I'd confidently side with the coaches that got to see, test, and interview both players rather than the media machine that loves ND.

very true, this has to be the most inteligent posts overall so far. everyone seems to be leveled headed and not one bonehead post of "worst draft ever".

I agree word for word of everyone who has post. quinn was my dream, but i feel very confindent in our first day draft (now). Good job cam/randy ignore the boo's

I really like what we've done.

I was "Shocked" with the Ginn pick, but in retrospect, and after selecting John Beck, it is making sense. The bottom line: Beck was the guy Cam wanted all along and I trust Cam to evaluate QB's better than us fans can.

Also, he's brought us 3 additional draft picks with his trades, drafted one of the fastest players in the draft class in Ginn, added a lot of speed to the RB position in Booker, and picked up arguably the best C in the draft (I believe Kalil was also overrated and gets pushed off the ball too often).

Cam has a plan and is called by many in the football world "an offensive genius".

So far, I like what I see.

Thanks Cam, GO PHINS~!

How many Qb's has CAm drafted,1. Too many people are thinking the pick was between Beck and Quinn, they thought Guinn was special and BEck was good enough.

kindly list the teams he has built, in order to provide the basis for your trust in him. feel free to go back to his college days at Indiana and find me conference, NCAA, or NFL success. this is his first head coaching job in the NFL, so you can't.

i'll gladly provide the basis for my lack of trust in him; he was hired by Wayne Huizenga, who was responsible for hiring Wannstedt, and Saban. so until i see results, the trust the staff junk doesn't fly.

and before you point to the offense in SD as proof of Camerons wizardry, i've got two letters for: L.T.

as for developing QBs, the Chargers considered Drew Brees a bust before two season ago, which is why SD drafted Phillip Rivers.

having his replacement breathing down his neck did as much for Brees as the 4 plus years of coaching in SD.

Phillip Rivers was a high first round pick, and only ended up in SD because of Eli Manning's and his family making it known he wouldn't play there. he had the skill set already. they had the chance to draft Rivers but didn't. they traded for him because Eli told them he would sit out the season and re-enter the draft.

show me one guy who wasn't supposed to be a stud that Cameron coached up to greatness.

oh and one more thing, given the age difference, and the fact that Cam is the "guru" of developing along young QB's, why was Quinn not a good fit again, considering he was a top ten pick in EVERYONES opinion and ran a pro style offense for the last two seasons? whatever deficiencies he supposedly has, couldn't Cam the QB guru have fixed them by the time Quinn is 26, the same age our QB of the future is now?

What the hell are you talking about ? It was already well known Eli wouldn't play there before they drafted him. They used him as a bargaining chip. I'm sorry you wanted Quinn sooooo bad you can't come to terms with reality.

not really sure if you watched the draft or not. but according to the professional teams' scouts, he was not. he wasnt even a top twenty pick in their opinion.
oh but wait you mean mel kipers opinion......:rolleyes2
