The Palm Beach Post says that "Miami Dolphins coach Cam Cameron doesn't expect the Ted Ginn Watch to become a distraction." and that "Ginn was about 90-percent healthy when he practiced during the June mini-camp."

Reports in June said that he was the fastest player on the field at 90%...

I can't wait to see him at 100%.
:dolphins:

Didn't Cameron say that L. Booker was the fastest player on the team?

As far as I can tell, Cameron didn't say anything about Ginn's june health in this recent press conference. Edgar was dragging up something that Cam said back in June when Ginn was practicing. When asked to give a percentage on how healthy Ginn was, he said he's probably about a little above 90% of what he normally is when 100% healthy and in game condition.

So this is really not new news. When I watched the tapes though, I personally thought Ginn was closer to 100% than advertised. He had that same quick burst. I wondered if stamina wouldnt be a bigger problem.

Does anyone know why this is taking so long to heal? Its been 6 months. I a le franc sprain (or whatever it is takes time) but 24 weeks and counting?!

Ginn stated during his first mini camp that he's running at full speed...that would be considered close to 100% healthy.

Well it's a foot sprain, not a high ankle sprain, but yeah they can take a long time. Remember how Travis Daniels got a high ankle sprain back in training camp last year? He fought that thing through the entire year, supposedly needed season-ending surgery but he put it off. I mean we're talking Travis Daniels injures the thing in July, and he's still fighting it in January. They can take a while.

You would think with something this serious, he would have been in some sort of cast

i don't know if he had an ankle sprain or not. the lingering injury is/was a Lisfranc injury (or fracture-dislocation), which occurs in the mid-foot between the metatarsals.
