Cameron to hold Press Conference on Friday!

I'd like to hear the explanation of getting nothing for McMichael.

Overrated. Can't catch consistently, can't block consistently and likes to beat women around. Huge roster bonus and he only got $500k more in the biggest spending spree in NFL history.

There isn't one needed.

Teams knew he was going to be released, and most valued Graham higher anyways.

Exactly, with the big spending on cap . . . why get rid of one of the better TE's in the league for a roster bonus . . . u could have kept him at that price and kept his durability and familiarity with the offense. Tho inconsistent at times . . . he still better than Martin because he is ON the field. I like Martin's potential but he is injury prone to the third power. I really hope we didn't make a mistake by letting Randy go for the TE's we currently have on roster.

I smell Scott Chandler In The Draft!! Big TE

I do like Scott Chandler. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if we drafted one early. The position does seem like a rather gaping hole. KB21 could be right, we may have Zach Miller targeted at #40. That would probably rule out taking Ginn at #9, though.

Here are some TEs I like:

Zach Miller, Scott Chandler, Kevin Boss, Rudy Sylvan and Braden Jones.

Sylvan is a blocking specialist with some vertical ability, highly explosive and he may even move to the offensive line some day.

Chandler is a gifted blocker but a raw one, is just learning that aspect of things right now. Nicely athletic, good pass catcher, all-around guy with the potential to I think be a great blocking TE.

Boss is just extremely athletic, savvy all-around...between he and the other athlete Michael Allen, I think Allen is the better athlete but Boss is the better all-around TE.

Zach Miller has been a dominating presence at TE for years, and were it not for Greg Olsen's uncommon athleticism, might have been considered #1 TE in this draft.

Braden James is a F-R-E-A-K athlete.

No Ben Patrick?

He's good but he does seem rather one-dimensional to me. For this offense, with David Martin already having plenty of speed and athleticism, being the one-dimensional pass catcher...I'd rather grab a guy that I know can block or at least I think he might be able to.

Braden James may even move back to OLB where he played for Northwestern before transferring to Southern Illinois.

I hope he does discuss it and it'd better not be a press conference to announce that they've traded a pick for Trent Green.

Considering the talk is a 7th round pick for Trent Green IF he agrees to reduce his base salaries to just above the league minimum, then I think that would be a hell of a boon for Miami.

I honestly hope Friday's PC will be discussing the addition of Trent Green to the roster for the 7th round pick the Patriots gave us, while reducing his salaries to league minimum levels.

Gotcha, see your point with Patrick now. With the *possible* addition of Green, do you foresee the end of Daunte Culpepper in Miami and a QB being taken early in teh draft? Just curious as to what your take is as the rest of the forum is up in arms over this bit of news.

Edit - possible addition
