Wake delivered a blow to Panthers quarterback Cam Newton’s chin on the first play of the day, leaving Newton spitting up blood while the game went on without any penalty to Wake. The league disagreed with referee Scott Green’s crew belief that Wake’s hit fell within the rules and has confirmed with PFT that the Dolphin pass rusher has been fined $15,750 for roughing the passer.

These defensive players need to sue the league for these bogus fines. This is the second against our team this season. There is no way you can rush the passer and control how he reacts. If he ducks his head or lowers his strike zone the defender loses money.

Cam should be fined for that "Superman" shtick he does when he scores.
That hit by Wake was worth it. I was waiting for Cam to start spitting teeth. He will probably need the dents taken out of his grill.

That's crap, it didn't even get a flag. I thought fines were handed out if was obvious. Oh well.

They need to start putting flags on the QB's because this is where this is going. On the other side of the equation when Cam was in the grasp of Wake and another defensive later in the game and was able to spin out of it why wee the refs so late on their whistle if their mission is to protect the QB. Perhaps it is the refs fault a bit over some of this stuff and they need it fined too.

Honsestly, I've not watched either of the last two games, and I haven't missed it.
It's not the game I grew up playing.
