Camp report day 2.

Let me start off by saying that the security at camp this year is way overkill. No standing? WTF?

RB's- Gordon had a tough practice, fumbled once and then dropped an easy pass later on.

TE's- Donald Lee dropped an easy one. McMichael had some nice catches.

WR's- Thompson made some nice one handed grabs.

O-line- Carey played well today I thought. He messed up early on, on one play where it seemed that he blocked the wrong way on a run, but he eventually settled in and did a nice job. I read somewhere else that JT abused him, that's total BS. Carey played even better today than he did yesterday. One thing about him that bothers me a little though is that it doesn't look like he goes all out in run blocking, he doesn't take it to his guy and try to punish him the way Hadnot and Stockar do. The most impressive o-lineman for the 2nd consecutive day was Hadnot. He dominated.

McKinney struggled again today.

QB's- I think Feely outplayed Frerotte today. Both QB's were much more accurate with their deep balls but Frerotte settled for the easy ones way too much.

CB's- Daniels shined. He made a highlight reel INT by the sideline on one play.

D-line- Wright was lagging behind pretty bad in the wind sprints at the end of practice. Conditioning is an issue w/ him.

Alright, that's it for today guys.

Good job. Thanks for the report.

Wright was said to be in poor condition during his workouts - even though he was super fast for his size. He probably needs to lose some weight and get in the weight room more. I think a few weeks in camp will probably cause him to drop 10-15 lbs - especially if he gets the proper nutrition.

Anything we get from the guy this year is a real bonus, since we gave up nothing for him. Even if he's just in street clothes most of the year - he'll be worth it next year.

In your opinion...Is Hadnot dominating because our DT's are poor or because he is just playing that well?

that's always the question isn't it, for one guy to do good at least one has to do bad

amen. I really hope he is just playing THAT good and our DT's will be ok. ;)

I think Hadnot is a special player, he's playing that well. I can honestly say that in the past two days I haven't seen a d-lineman get the better of him yet.

Awesome. THANKS

So how did Chambers, Booker, Boston, or McMichael do today? I know you gave a report on them yesterday, so I was wondering, did they play like yesterday, worse or better?

Boston had a nice sideling catch deep from Feeley that was ruled out of bounds. He is ripped. McMichael was his normal self, he had some nice catches. Guess who I saw there after practice, his wife and kid. She did not have any bruises or black eyes. Booker was there but I really don't remember him doing much. Chambers had a couple of nice grabs.

How could you tell?

Good report. It sounds like the O-line is getting better (as a whole) every day. Much more promising than last year!

I hope u guys understand how much we appreciate the work u do on these camp updates.:hail: It is one of the bright spots of my days. I, like alot of us really depend on those of u lucky ones that get to go.
