-The weren't in full pads tonight.

-Of the QB's Frerotte was clearly better. He was surveying the field and making nice on target passes. Feeley was locking on to a WR and overthrowing the ball way too much. I read, I think it was Ozzy who posted it, that Feeley locks on, so I looked for it tonight and sure enough that's what he did. He doesn't look one way then the other and make a choice like Frerotte, it's almost like before the play started he had already decided where he was throwing the ball.

-On one play Frerotte threw a nice deep ball into triple coverage to Chambers, the ball was right on target and should have been caught. Instead it tipped up a couple times and eventually hit the ground off the fingertips of Chambers.

-Donald Lee had a few bad drops.

-Derrius Thompson dropped an easy one.

-McMichael had some nice catches.

-On the o-line JT beat Carey twice in a row and then Houck inserted Roth to face Carey and Carey handled him easily. When Carey faced Roth and David Bowens tonight he dominated, but when JT was there he had a tougher time of it.

-McKinney was eaten up by Josh Shaw on one play and by Vickerson on another play.

-Some o-lineman took handoffs again, Whitley and Hadnot.

-After one play Saban chewed out Tillman bad.

-Mare was better on FG's tonight. He was hitting from 50.

-Traylor was on the bike tonight.

-Junior didn't practice again but did some drills on his own.

-Zgonina did a nice job blowing up a play and getting into the backfield right as the ball was snapped.

-That's all I can remember now.

Sigh..... When is Feeley going to learn to LOOK OFF his recievers? This was one of his biggest problems and why he threw so many INT's. If this isn't corrected, forget it. It'll be the same old Feeley.

glad to see mcmichael still having an awesome camp.

not too many people can handle jt but sounds like carey is a big improvement

Glad to see Gus grabbing the bull by the horns. He seems like he's really taking control based on your and Ozzie's reports.

has Tillman been running with the second team now that Lance is there?

I'm not sure. I think they're rotating the guys bc/ early on I saw Akins and Schulters but then later Tillman was out there. I check for sure tomorrow.

THANK YOU SO MUCH...

On Gus: I can see him starting. He knows the system and is now getting comfortable.

On Vernon Carey: It's normal to have Jason Taylor beat you every once in a while. Otherwise, he sounds like he's doing great.
It won't be until we play Carolina and Tampa Bay that he'll face another great DE like he is in practice.

On McKinney: WADE SMITH, ANYONE???

On Tillman: Who cares? He's 2nd string now.

On Junior, Wright, T. Jones, etc... They all have minor knick-ups, they'll be back soon. If it were a real game tomorrow, they'd play.

;)

I think alot of practice will help Feeley. Last year he had to decide who to throw to before the snap or he would've never gotten it off. That had to be the single sorriest OL I've ever seen.
:french:
They must be French!

Peppers is actually a LE, and Rucker plays RE, so Vernon would be going up against Mike....

still, its very encouraging that he's playing well.....McIntosh who?

Yeah, but Carolina switches up, like we plan to do this year.

Still in all, Carolina has a GREAT D-line. It'll be a test.

Phins an Pens! yeah baby!!! Crosby! Crosby!

damn feeley needs to shape up he is thinking to much out there he needs to just let the game come to him.as you can tell im hoping that feeley wins the job but if ferrotte out plays him cause he is locking on to recievers then im for playing the one who gives us the best chance to win.feeley i think has all the intangables you need he just needs to be coached up more by j.garrett or somebody maybe as he gets comfortable with the offence this will stop.this is his third new offence in three years to his defence so ferrettoe shold be ahead of him rite now feeley i hope will come around he just needs reps and time which he should have enough to get ready for the season.somtimes when you play a extra preseason game it can help you difintely if your team is learning a new scheme cause nothing is like live bulletts and practice makes you perfect......

Where the hell are the coaches?

If Feeley keeps locking onto his reciever, someone needs to help him out
