So Brenel and Smith may have spots? Im sure they will need to see more good things from Smith first..and Young has a spot. Steen does seem like he is out at the moment.

I think steens gonna end up Larsen insurance. Make it initially cut if/when Larsen returns. I think brendels in a good standing.
Lafayette Pitts however kid you better ball on specials. Your 4th nickel slot right now and buried boundary. And that wasn't a very good tape vs atlanta.
max, X, bobby mac, lipp, tank are probably all locks.
Walt aikens being a top special teamer my guess is also secure.
I wonder if they would go 7 cbs and 3 safeties (Michael Thomas, Reshad and Nate) until TJ gets back in week 9 (although with Nate Allen injured they may need another S to roster . . . Wonder if Walt has switched back yet).
The same situation as last week?
Gives that Smith kid a chance to shine again and lock down that 4th tackle spot and hell who knows maybe he can give Sam Young a run at some active gameday appearances.

They will just bump Sam young. He's gonna have to play a good amount anyways cause I'm sure they want to get him some left tackle 2 deep reps also opposite smith
