As one of the happiest days is upon us, i just wanted to get fellow fin fans perspective on their top wishes for Fins camp 07. here are my top three relatively realistic hopes for this 07 camp:

1) Solidify the Secondary: This is the only weakness in our defense, and the only thing keeping us from being a team that can win almost completely on its D. Hopefully Jason Allen can help at Corner, Goodman returns from injury and Y. Bell continues his growth.
2) OLine gets offensive: Need the OLine to gel, and i really hope that by the end of camp pete kendall is in camp as well. After last year can it really get any worse?
3) TE: We need some production out of the TE and not just lip service which we got from McMike for so many years. Hopeflly Courtney Anderson can push David Martin.
Any way go Fins!!!

Agree with your points you brought up. I think we have outstanding talent at the D-line and LBer positions, secondary is a bit shaky right now. There is some talent, time for Jason Allen to start performing and I'm excited with Bell can do coming off a solid year.

The O-line is going to have to gel quick, I'm not sure I've ever had more expectations on a rookie in a while (Samson Satele). He needs to come in at the Center position and lead that offensive line. We're gonna need another solid year of Carey protecting Green's blindside at the LT position. I think moving Hadnot over to his more natural guard position will help.

As far as the TE position, Randy has been so inconsistent over the past years, I think hopefully we will get someone in their we can count on for a few catches and some solid blocking.

Looking forward to some Training camp reports! Go Fins!

Our DB's is my #1 question. This will be my biggest concern going into camp.

The reason why the O-line is not my biggest concern is simple. Last year people overloaded the line and killed us. This also had a lot to do with us having QB's that were not smart (quick thinkers). Add in a terrible play caller and you have the worst combination I can think of. Now one year later we have a smart QB and great play caller. The O-line doesn't have to be a lot better than last year to succeed. Why? - because if people try to load up on us now, we have a QB that likes quick releases and the speed to absolutely kill defenses. A lot of people, not all, are not giving Cam the credit he will earn. Coaches have such a huge impact on the way offenses are ran its crazy.

So back to the DB's - we have too many games that are decided by 7 points are less and if our DB's can make one or two more plays each game, then you give yourself a chance to take away those points and win.

I think we all agree that this team will score more points than last year.

My hopes would be:

1. Figure out the secondary
2. Pete Kendall is our starting LG by the end of camp
3. Ted Ginn is working as at least the #4 WR by the end of camp

My only wish for camp is for all the starters and key backups come out it healthy.

AMEN, BROTHER, AMEN,

LETS HOPE NOBODDY ELSE GOES OUT AND GETS INTO TROUBLE .
that is my biggest concern.:(:ninja::confused::tantrum:

I agree, usually if someone gets seriously hurt its in the first day or two. I am holding my breath right now.

secondary and o-line.

W.Allen, Daniels, and Goodman. That kinda scares me

Please explain the love for Pete Kendall. Why would you want a 33, 280lbs guard on the downside of his career? He is an awful, awful run blocker who get manhandled at the point of attack.

I am praying you take Kendall of our hands. He was one of the main reasons the Jets could not run the ball last year.

Guys, 280lbs lineman are a thing of the past.
