So tired of the 'they beat two bad teams' excuse. Honestly, instead of looking forward at the remainder of the season, let's take a look back and play 'what if?'
It can pretty much be guaranteed that Campbell would have won the Jags game. The Jets game, we almost had a 4th quarter comeback even with the ****show that we had on the field, he would have beat the Jets. Only question is the Bills game.
If Campbell had led the team from the start, we would be 5-1 or 6-0 right now. Would anybody be questioning anything at that point?
I don't think it's going to far to hype what this team as done. Hell, how many GOOD teams do that even against horrible teams? I remember the Pats beating the Redskins (I believe) in 2007 and just dominating them. People were complaining that Bill left his starters in for the whole game. I think the final score was like 52-7 or something. And we are talking about the 2007 Pats there! Beating a bad team is one thing. Absolutely dominating them is another. We didn't just 'beat two horrible teams.' We dominated.
So no, I don't think anything is out of control. And if everybody is wrong, oh well. ENJOY IT while it lasts. How many times in the last 15 years have we been able to feel like this during a season? I'm loving the hype!
