Just re-watching the press conference from yesterday. Do you think Campbell was sending a message to Tannehill (if those reports from yesterday were true about Tannehill getting upset about practice squad players going too hard against him) He said "The best teams that I've been a part of are the ones that during the week they go after each other, whether it's practice squad versus your defense, they're giving the look or practice squad versus offense, but it gets heated, it's intense and it's people that are fighting to win. They want to get noticed or they want to do their job, it's not just going through the motions, to me that's what's got to change and if we'll start there, I think we'll be in the right direction."

To me it sort of sounds like he is saying get over the B.S. the practice squad guys are fighting for a job, to get noticed, and the rest of the team needs to be the same. What do you think?

I think too many people are reading into every word trying to find drama that isn't there. You could have easily bolded the practice squad against defense and said he was talking about Suh...but you chose Tannehill because he's the polarizing QB on this team and is playing like dog poop right now. It's whatever. Next year it's back to square one with a new coach and so help all Dolphins fans if it's Mangini.

The CB's IMO were more than justified to bend the rules and try and get noticed, only because it's Miami we're talking about. Philbin was never going to hand any young CB a job now or any time soon, we know how he is with that stuff. Yet, our starting secondary was coughing up huge yards to pedestrian QBs. They must have been trying to send a message that they're the answer, and they want to get a shot.

shet talking is part of football, grow hair n' a pair - it's a big boy party... 17 needs guys in his face, especially now... and let's not sit on #8; he's available and ready

like Soup said... time to heat it up

i think it's about the trenches he's referring to more than anything else..although it could be said about the entire roster...i know one thing while the qb play isnt good enough the offensive line play is abysmal

I agree with everything Dan says regular practices need to be turned up, but this particular incident, during a WALKTHROUGH, which is literally 50% speed, the scout team is supposed to be half speed as well. Not picking off an intentionally lazy pass, then in turn doing it again. Their job is to prep the offense (vice versa on D) for the gameplan, aka pretty much be a zombie out there. Not showboat when your starters are nailing down some specifics for the game. You and I could pick off passes during a walkthrough. Id get mad too if I was RT. They were interfering with the game prep.

just win so i can stop taking heat for being a loser dolphin fan

I wonder what his message to RT actually will be? Stop playing conservative? Run the offense more? Call into a run if you see X? That type of stuff. Also to Lazor...his old superior, interesting dynamic there.

I can't wait for practice next week, let alone the game. Let's see how much difference one man can make in two weeks.

philly doesnt check out miamis not going to under lazor...i'd pray for tempo...bout the only thing he may do if philbin was the one calling for a more controlled game

i'm not a baseball guy anymore but good luck tonight beat the stankees

I'm not either, probably won't even watch, just pissed and wanted a break from looking at Dolphins in my posts  But yeah F the Yankees, at least one of my teams is halfway decent.
