Most fans are in love with Campbell and Oklahoma drills, tug of wars and winning black jerseys, etc. Players are having fun and all is good in the Dolphins world after a big win.

My question is how long that will last? Anyone who has played competitive sports in HS or above will know of these kind of tactics to inspire a team, and it does mostly work for a while. How long is the big question.

I'm wondering what these players will be saying and thinking in the next 4 games. It would appear that they cannot be "inspired" on their own, despite being paid multi millions of dollars to do so. Will they be making excuses and pointing fingers after a loss or two or, will they have grown a set to continue playing?

There were no Oklahama drills, false report

This franchise should stress continuity. Dan Campbell is a known product whose NFL experience gives him an invaluable attribute. If he gets us anywhere near the playoffs, he should stay.

I think this really is the big question and I dont think we will know the answer till later in the season. We just dont know enough about Cambell to know whether he has the leadership skills to continue to get this team to play at a high level. There is also a lot of behind the scenes boring administration type stuff that goes into being a HC. And relating/guiding your coordinators. Only time will tell.

Its pretty hard not to be impressed with the energy we played with last week though.

I like Campbell and the bigger thing is I think the players do too...Alot. Im thinking this could help us in Free Agency as well.

Time will tell. Initially I like everything, but it was one game, and it was against a bad Titans team. Now for wait and see mode.

Leadership, command, authenticity, accountability, passion, awareness these are all lasting qualities that make for a good head coach. Nobody gives a **** about Oklahoma drills in and of themselves. This enthusiasm is about the many high level qualities that Coach Campbell is displaying that are obviously connecting with the players. Doesn't matter how self-motivated you are when you are part of a unit and a team you're not accomplishing jack **** if the leadership is wayward and deficient.

Impossible to answer if he is the long term solution. That depends on him. But. Instilling toughness and attitude is not a gimmick by any means whatsoever. It's something we've sorely lacked and it's something a real contender sorely needs.

Have to disagree. Many players have said how much they enjoyed practices, etc. and it most certainly does matter how self-motivated players are. IMO, there is no on the field leadership to continue the high from last week, and Tannehill has to step up in that role which he has not come close to so far.

I'm going to trust Dan Campbell and the Dolphins players over a bunch of people that weren't actually at the practice. Thanks though.

So, you believe that the major media doctored the film for some unknown reason? That's funny, as everyone has seen the clips of what was done. Care to check your eyeballs? :)
