Who is your biggest letdown for the camp so far, and why??

Personally I think mine would have to be Roth, while in the reports I read he is doing fairly well, from what people made him out to be earlier, I'm not sure he has lived up to his hype. There is still time for him though so I'm not too down on him.

Lee I had no confidence in after last year, so he is no letdown. Same with Taylor Whitney no confidence in after last year. But these 2 have by far been the worse.

Mckinney, although he seems to have had two decent practices lately. Also Frerotte simply because he knows the offense and it seems from the reports that he's not really impressing anyone. I thought it would be a case where he had the advantage over Feeley for the first couple of weeks but it seems that Feeley has the slighht edge so far

The reason Roth is letting you down is because you believed all the BS hype he got on this board.

He's got alot of potential, but he's got a ways to go. Alot of learning and adjusting to the pro game.

How many DE's make a huge impact there rookie year? Not JT.

You can't let the 25 Matt Roth pictures in signature, and threats of him ripping qb's heads off let you forget that he's still a rookie with alot to learn about technique, and how to succeed in the pros.

That is true, but Roth has alot of great teachers to teach him how to be a good DE/LB. But this is still the first week of TC, so he still has time to learn and grow.

I did realize that, but with all the hype it gave you the false hope that he would come in here and still be an animal.

I also like that Ferotte pick, he should have came in here making AJ look bad the first couple weeks and hasn't. Kinda what we expected AJ to do last year to ears.

McKinny def should not be starting this year. Since St. Clair isn't starting anywhere, we need to let him work at C.

Well said. Err.... even if it came out of a Bills' fan's mouth.

The Dolphins fan base is kinda like a cancer patient who has recovered and went into remission, beating the disease. The cancer IS gone IMO...(wannestedt). The phins have a great mix of vets and fresh rookies, as well as a staff of highly touted coaches now. I see nothing on the horizon but reasons for the hope of a successful season for our phins. A number of fans seem in a funk about the upcoming season like their waiting for the other shoe to fall like the cancer will return. I say screw that noise...c'mon phin fans shower, shave, put on that new jersey open a can of ice cold brewski and lets bring on the broncos! I cant wait for this 11-5 (with playoffs)season to begin...Its gonna be great!:beerbang:

Definatly...

I don't know of a better teacher for a young DE than Taylor, he's seen alot.

Taylor should be able to help Roth keep his emoptions in check as well.

Thats something I've always admired about Taylor, is hes a beast but you don't really see him until its to late.

I can't imagine anyone who's watched Frerotte over the years thinking he was going to come in here and just punk AJ from the get go.

good analogy. the cancer is definitely gone. whether we go to the playoffs this year or next we are on the right track. It seems from the reports that as long as Ronnie Brown is the deal our draft will be pretty good. if we can do the same next year we are going to have a very good starting unit and finally have some depth

i have been saying that feeley would win the starting job on my posts but i thought with the new system frerotte would have the edge at the beginning. i would say that if he cant beat out feeley at this stage when he knows the offense, i dont see how he's gonna beat feeley come september

This is pitiful A week of his first camp and you are already disappointed in a player. First off there is a reason he was a 2nd Rd. pick. Second at least let him play a preseason game before declaring him a disappointment, and third stop taking everything you read about a player as the gospel. If you read all the pre-draft stuff then most players drafted would be stars.

This instant gradification is way out of hand.

Mine biggest disappointment is Nick Saban. The man came to Miami will all this hype and has yet to win a game.

He must be fired.
