Tony Sparano's enthusiastic endorsement of Ted Ginn, as one of the two best players in OTA is consistent with what we are hearing from multiple sources - Teddy's confidence has gone up a notch and he is set for a big season. (we live in hope!)
The irony hit me that after all the booing - Cam Cameron's likely single best decision was his first - selecting Teddy in the 2007 Draft. I think that most of the other draft selections are gone. :rimshot:

As much as we like hearing about Sporano's enthusiasm of Ginn. Ginn was still a big reach for that draft spot and not to mention he has been a project. But if he has a good year then maybe more people will take to him more. I know I am not sold on him yet. Sorry not trying to knock him just how i feel.

His best decision was when he took himself out of the preseason game to let someone else coach, just in case something ever happened to him. My god what would we have done.

Most of the abuse Cameron took for that was most everyone wanted Brady Quinn plus we probably could've traded down and still got Ginn. Obviously there's been worse FO decisions in our history. Maybe cause their names rhymed Cam got confused.

:crazy::crazy: He was not a big reach!!! Just about all the draftnik's and " experts " thought of him as a Top 20 pick and many thought he was a top 10 ten pick, and he was.

He has shown to be a better pick then that QB that still can't seem to find his way to the field and stay on it.:rimshot:

I know its funny.
But in reality its sad how we had a head coach and front office that didnt really make one good decision for a whole year.
Maybe chapman was a good decision?

Cam best decision was .....

wait a minute he never had a good decision.

Havent knocked him, just wish he was not such as huge "project" as he was taken that high, but I still expect big things from him.

cam's best decision was to go back to offensive coordinator duties after his horrible experience as an NFL headcoach

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about, Ginn hasn't been a project, he's been the typical WR, 3 years and the lights come on, just like TO, M. Harrison, Rice, and plenty of others.. He's improve each year, plus he came out as a jr.. a really young man..who's starting to blossom...hopefully he grows up a lot this year.. oh yea, lee Evans is another who started coming around about the 3rd year..

Sit tight, Ginn may be heading out the door soon enough. As for Cam's best decision.... it was, LEAVING

Ya, what "project"? He has seen significant play time in each season...a project is a guy they have to spend major time to develop just to get on the field. What we are seeing from Ted Ginn is GROWTH - not a PROJECT being built.

Taken too high? Maybe, maybe not. Regardless of his draft position, it still boggles my mind to see so many people constantly and consistently taking shots at our top WR.

I'd agree on most points, he was definitely a reach, but he definitely would've been gone by our next pick. I recall that the front office tried to trade down and had they been successful would've been able to get Ginn at a more equitable spot. Trading down is never easy though so that didn't work.
I am definitely not sold on him either, but most WR's don't really develop until their third year, which is this season for him. So, hopefully, he breaks out this year, justifies the pick and conjures memories of the Marks Brothers.
