Can a player on IR be on he sideline on Sunday?

Does anyone know if there is a rule prohibiting people that are on injured reserve from standing on the sideline at the games on Sunday. i do not remember if Ronnie Brown was at any games last yar after the injury.

I don't believe so. You see guys in civies all the time down there that are players.

I think there is a difference between simply being out and being on IR.

If I remember right, wasn't shockey in the stands for the Giants games last year when he was on IR?

I'll have to go look that one up.

I remember the commentators calling Shockey out bc he wasn't on the sideline. Maybe i misunderstood.
