go ahead make fun of me but this kid has something special going on he needs time to come along but he is a keeper and a bigtime winner in my book.go fins!!!!! p.s trade aj to chicago things come in three's wanny, speilman,aj bye bye......

he's got a snowball's chance in a microwave oven of becoming our tom brady, but that's still better than feeley's chances of becoming our brady.

He's going to need a lot of coaching, but I think he could be a starter one day. He's got good tools to work with. I wish I could find the post where I broke down his play at UM last year. I really think that he has progressed nicely year by year, but will need good coaching to break some of his bad habits. For one, he needs to see the field better when he's under center. Not lock down on one receiver. That has gotten better, but not there yet. He needs to work on his play fake, it's not that good. He's got an average NFL arm, much better than Fiedler (like some where saying). Good accuracy, except some mental lapses every now and again. It's going to take time, but he can be a good QB in this league. I think he's perfect for a developmental 3rd QB.

I agree never say never... but those are the kind of things you can never predict, they just happen. And I really don't see it happening, so I'm going to have to say no. But I would also like to add that his performance lately has increased his chances of making the team, and he may very well make the team over Sage (but even that's not a guarentee).

BROCK BABY!

THIS GUY IS THE NEXT MARINO i dont know what ur talking about hahahaha

Dude ill be happy if the guy makes it as the 3rd QB

wait...

didn't berlin throw 12 TDs and 17 INTs in 2003 for Miami?

didn't he go 12/26 for 99 and 0 TDs against the Houston Cougars, who went 3-8 last year? sacked 8 times, and missed wide open receivers all day?

didn't the Gators give up on him?

didn't he have two huge turnovers in a home loss to Va. Tech?

didn't he lose homecoming against Clemson by getting sacked 6 times, and throwing three straight incompletions in OT?

didn't he, in fact, badly underperform for a tremendous crop of Hurricanes the past two seasons?

stop me if i'm wrong... but if you honestly think a wildly inconsistent 6'1 quarterback who looks decent against preseason third-stringers is an NFL starter, please... stop hitting snooze on your alarm... it's time to get up.

Why do Dolphin fans fail to look back at history? We should have traded Marino in favor of Mitchell. Than we should have let Huard start instead of Marino. After that we should have let Huard start in favor of Fiedler. Than is was Lucas (after some BS preseason appearances that Berlin just had) over Fiedler. Next it was Griese over Fiedler. Than it was Feeley over Fiedler and now Berlin over Ferrotte and Feeley? I'll grant a lot of you on the last one that while I'm excited about this season Feeley and Ferrotte are just window dressing until someone real comes along and I can assure all of you that someone is not Berlin.

My point is now because of some meaningless appearances we should consider Berlin as our future QB? Anyone who has visited camp this year and has seen this kid's performances or should I say lack of wouldn't even seriously consider this. So he's looked ok in a few meaningless preseason drives against other players of whom 80% won't make their teams either and now we're talking about him as the future to the throne?? I'll be shocked if he even makes the team.
