While BP is not treating JT with the respect that he has earned over his career in Miami...he is trying to establish a new, hard-nosed culture within the organization. BP has a history of making an example out of high profile players to make a point and instilll the right team attitude...and he is at it again...to the detriment of JT in the short term and the benefit of the fins in the long term...

I think Bill isn't taking him seriously bc he's doing that dancing with the stars stuff. Bill is probably thinking "you're the leader of this team, you should be focusing on football, not dancing with the stars."

I think bill is being a jackass in the way he is treating taylor. He is loosing taylor's respect and other veteran players on the team who probably remember him winning the defensive player of the year award two years ago and the walter payton man of the year award this last year.

Jason Taylor isnt a TO or Keyshawn or whatever he is a hard working Miami Dolphin that parcells is acting like is a cancer to the team.

Why isn't JT treating the MDs like his main priority?

My point; JT laid it on the line. He deerve a better situation if it comes up.

No need for the name calling.

Name calling gives me pause about the fans that had the honor
of watchingZT and, JT on the field.....

Honstly.

If this was John Beck doing DWTS, would everyone still defend it?? I think everyone would be upset and say he needs to hit the weights and improve himself. Everyone on the team should be treated the same, JT can always improve and since he is a leader he should be in the weight room with the guys pushing them.

I hate to break it to you but JT and John Beck are certainly not the same and should not be treated the same. For example: Jason Taylor has been to six probowls and played in the league 11 years. John Beck hasnt started six games and has only played one season.

People ragged on Joey Harrington because he could play the piano. I guess it doesn’t look macho enough for tough-guy football fans. I would be very surprised if the whole DWTS thing wasn’t somehow encouraged by the league, or being used by the league to promote the NFL to the whole crowd that watches that sort of stuff instead of sports. Jason might have been offered up by the league as someone who might be willing to do it. If that’s the case, Parcels has to tolerate whatever the league decides is best for the league. I’m really glad they didn’t make HIM do it!

I'm not. That would make great television. Of course, he might only last a couple of weeks but it would be funny while it lasted.

Has anyone considered the fact Bill Parcells isn't Head Coach or even GM? Maybe BP feels JT should work through the appropriate channels. We all have jobs and is it common for you to go talk the the guy numerous levels above you (player>Position Coach>DC>Assitant HC>HC>GM>BP). I know it sounds extreme but it's apparent Bill isn't going to be the ordinary front office "suite" kinda guy, maybe this is one of the "chores" he feels is important to let the guys he has paid to handle, handle. I think given JT has shown some "Diva" tendencies here lately realistically isn't part of the long term future, he is the perfect person to treat like this.

And the whole notion Bill is hard noised with all his players is yet another Dolphin forums untruism, he is widely known for giving special players special treatment.

I hope BP treats him so badly that he demands a trade then We trade him for Lito or Bengals finally get fed up and realize its better to get a proven good pas rusher than have a WR sitting bench pissin and moanin. We desperatley need a CB and a true #1 WR. I would have traded him to Oak for Fabian Washington and a 4th or 5th rounder

John Beck isn't Jason Taylor, I believe Jason has earned the right to do what he wants to do in the off season. It has also been reported that Jason works out with weights every morning for at least 2 hrs. So he is getting his weight training.

THANK YOU! BP Is Not Our Head Coach. Taylor Should Be Talking With Sparano Or Ireland.
