Or is this just temporary as most interim coaches.

We can't say for sure right now. Considering he has Parcells connections, he probably likes a tough running game and tough defense like Sparano (but with more talent and a QB). The scheme we currently have probably doesn't fit what he wants. So I'm curious to see what happens to Lazor and Coyle, and what changes he makes. But I'm just assuming that.

How dare you question Coach Campbell. You're lucky you don't get roundhoused by his goatee

I'm only optimistic because its only week 4. Leaves room for possible salvage.

History says its unlikely, but if he can somehow turn this thing around and win a lot of games, sure.
Little hard to do with no coners, no O line, no D line, and worst linebackers in football history.

He has a 12 week audition. If the team shows improvement, fight, and wins some games in those 12 weeks? Maybe.

wouldn't that be great...
I wish Philbin worked out tbh. I'm sick of the same old bs of rebuilding every 4 years.

He was to attack attack attack..... That means blitzing more and going deep on offense

Sure he can, every now and then the new young hothead is Don Shula or Alex Ferguson. Though more often its tony soprano lol always a chance though

nobody knows at this stage. but he has to roll with the current schemes so it isn't really his vision. history says interim coaches rarely do well

In the past, when there has been a firing and an interim head coach, I thought "great, just a guy to babysit while we suck for the rest of the year."

However, I like Dan. I like his hard-nosed, no nonsense passion. I hope he shows us something in the next 13 weeks. I'm rooting for the guy until he proves otherwise.

honestly if he kicks ass in the tough part of our schedule, he would deserve some consideration.

Me too. New coach in 2016 means rebuild again. Least Dan knows our players. Hope he can go 9-7. That will most likely secure his job. 8-4 is a hell of a turn around.
