Can Henne call audibles ?

Henne didnt audible under Hennings offense, he would be able to "kill" the initial play call to a secondary play. It would usually be from a run to a pass or vice versa. Notice after reading the defense pre-play he would say "kill kill"; that would in essence "audible" to the secondary play option.

Right he would routinely "kill" drives by running dive plays on 3rd and long

Def hope to see more of chad taking control of the Offense this year and being able to make the correct Hot reads and calls at the line rather than get flustered and get that deer in the head lights look hes had in the past when under pressure

I don't know why the coaches don't let Henne call the plays himself for a few drives during each game this preseason. It would give Henne a boost of confidence if he can move the team and score using his own play selection. I think it would be helpful in his development and it would give the coaches a chance to evaluate him. It also would create a play calling tendency breaker. The opposing defensive coordinator would not know what the heck is going on.
