I want to see our stadium become a real home field advantage. Dolphin Stadium is a pretty special place. Hell the stadium doesn't even have a stupid corporate name (although Dolphin Stadium is its own company, I believe technically the Dolphins pay a lease to Dolphin Stadium Inc. which is ofcourse is also owned by Huizenga)

I wish I had the money to come down to a game this year. I hate living in Eagles country.

I am hoping the bandwagon picks up down there. God forbid the 12th man wins us a game once.

im with u bro.. im stuck in pittsburgh and go to school in ohio... id like to get to the games to.. but this really isnt the place to be askin ppl to go to the games because chances are that the ppl on this site are the ones goin to the games if they live in miami.. all the empty seats are the bandwagoners that only go when we win.. and hopefully they jump back on the wagon right about now cuz its lookin pretty good

I hope so too! I voiced my displeasure about all the empty seats when I went out for the Ravens game. I was told by someone on here that since there are so many people from so many other places and they have their own teams they root for, that that's why not many people go. I'm not buying it! I traveled over 3000 miles to see them play. I'm from So. California born and raised. It's a shame that the Dolphins have a successful history and people cannot stand behind their team no matter what. If I lived there, you darn right I would be at every possible home game I could. I say if you Floridians don't want them there, then we would be more than happy to have them here!

yeah lets throw people under the bus for not going out to support a team that was horrid last year, not to mention the economic crisis we are going through. i made the trek for orlando to miami every game for 2 seasons, but i could no longer afford the seats and the cost of the trip (gas, food and tolls inc) last year. the diehards will always find a way to get to some games, and if we keep winning the bandwagon will fill up. these insulting type threads pop up way to often and are always posted by people who live hundreds to thousands of miles away.

I just dont see the next game being sold out. It will "sell out", but there will still be plenty of extra seats. Once they get over .500, or in 2nd or 1st place in the division, then people will not start buying in. Im a first year STH, so you can say Im a real fan since I got in after the horrible season

Pay for my tickets or get me a raise, then talk my boss into letting me off Sundays and I'm there man. I love going to the games, but I do also enjoy watching a game at a bar or at home with friends and family.

key word in bold.

Those fans go no matter what...1-15 or not. We are the laughing stock of the league when we announce sellouts and then gameday comes and the joint is empty. I would give anything to live down that way. My son and I made the trip down for the opener(10 hours) but the Air Force doesn't pay THAT good

Lol, I doubt you'd be saying that if you've actually been there. That being said, it does need to be filled up more and I think it will be.

I've been there 3 times actually, 2 fins games, 1 marlins game.

For a stadium that was built in the 80's....you couldn't ask for better.

Maybe its just special to me.

The true Dolfans are the only ones who know that this team is for real. The normal folks, the ones that it takes to fill a stadium, are only drawn when "it's the thing to do" because you have a certified playoff product out there on the field. Don't expect real sell-outs until after we make the playoffs or are in a game that can send us to the playoffs...

I've been goin to every home game for two years now, but I will sadly be getting rid of my season tickets because im leavin for college in Ohio next fall....gonna be a long four years

I'd go to every game if i lived in the area, but i live in indiana. I made it to the cleveland game last year we had a decent turn out there, but can' t seem to do it in our own stadium.

You can watch the game at a bar or at home with friends and family when the Dolphins are on the road. If your boss lets you off on Sunday's and you can afford it, a true Dolfan will be at the stadium, and not sitting on his couch.

Well..I used to go to the games all the time untill it just became too expensive. Did you see KC's stadium this week? Looked about as bad as Dolphins stadium. I'm sure more will show but it will take a little more then a sub par season to get everything where it once was. Atleast we are exciting to watch now which brings people into the stands.
