It's December, the Dolphins are the thick of the playoff race with a very good chance of getting in.

They are 4-2 over the last 6 week and 3-1 over the last 4.

The remaining 3 games are against an ailing Pats team at home, the Bills and finally the Jets at home.

They are getting good QB play from a guy who can actually lead a team to victory.

Other players are stepping up and making plays...Vernon, Clay, Thomas, Carroll have all had big impacts on games.

The O-line has looked the best it has all season.

The offense seems to have come alive over the last few weeks.

Could we actually be witnessing the Dolphins getting "hot" at the end of a season...making a run at the playoffs and maybe, just maybe make a little noise once there.

I know I could be setting myself up to have my heart broken, but I'm starting to believe.....I'm starting to think this team could be one that...dare I say it....makes us proud and actually have something to watch in January.

3 games....3 wins....lets play in January....Dolphins Playoff run 2013....Fins Up Baby!
 
This team does seem different, they have been resilient both in games and the season in general. They are improving as they go and that is very refreshing for a change.
 
The last Dolphins teams that were legitimate contenders started hot and hung on in Dec. I can't recall when the last time we saw a Dolphins team start peaking in Dec. What is most amazing is that this is being accomplished while the locker room is being disrupted during weekly preparations. I can't speak highly enough for how Philbin has held this team together and put them in this position.
 
Meaningful December football is awesome. Winning a shootout vs an elite QB in his house in the snow is awesome.

But beating the Patriots is what will make me a believer. Must. Win. Game. I know that cliche is overused, but this is the biggest game coming up for this franchise since... 2002? Huge, huge, huge, huge HUGE football game. I can't wait.
 
This should be a statement game. The Dolphins already showed they can play with the patsies, no reason they can't finish the job this time
 
This is my only Sunday off until January....Couldn't be at a better time!
 
Dang it .... just dang it! I can't help but want to believe also. My head is saying I'm a fool but my heart is saying take the plunge. I would think that I would learn from experience but I can't help it. I want to believe Miami can be a winner again. This game against NE will either confirm my belief or bring me back to reality.
 
Meh...don't know about ailing Pats team. They won plenty of games without Gronk this year. Question is will the referees throw the flag for too many men on the field since the refs play for the Pats...my guess is no...but they should.
 
The question is can this team turn in another good 4th quarter performance.
 
Philbin needs to tell Wells to stay out of that locker room until Jan.

Those 53 men believe they are something special. We need to support them as fans so we all can take pride in our playoff team.
 
Not trying to be negaitive but beating the jets with tha rookie QB didn't do anything for me. Beating PITT was better but beating NE will prove we belong. Lose to NE at home and it's the same old Dolphins.

Believe not to early.....we will be in this thing until week 17, if we lose to the Pats we still have a good chance if we win the last two.......if we beat the Pats we are the team to beat IMO....I don't see the Pats losing two weeks in a row and they would have Baltimore next....the schedule favors us, we just have to keep getting better each game, then getting in is not good enough.....first round will be against Indy or Cincy two teams we already beaten, next round against Pats or Denver, that's why this week is big, win this week and we can beat the Pats in the playoffs.....gotta believe......this team is good enough to go the distance
