Can Ireland draft for a WCO?

The GM doesn't get credit for finding UDFA's? He gets destroyed on here for not going after the big name FA's. It's the same damn thing

No he gets destroyed for botching the negotiation or letting some ignorant comment fly out of his mouth. As for the UDFA teams express interest but ultimately that player takes the offer from the team he has the greatest chance of making the roster. There is a bit of a difference

Thats exactly what an UDFA is doing.

I didn't ask you why you dislike Ireland. I couldn't honestly care any less. What I asked is why you don't give him credit for finding guys like Bess in the UDFA? There's a huge double standard on this site.

As for Ireland's "ignorant" comment. It wasn't as if he just walked up to Bryant and asked it. It was a logical assumption to his previous questions. Should he have asked it? Probably not but it's not as if he's just walking around asking people if their mothers are prostitutes

Why so shocking?? ... we're sub-.500 3 years in a row ... with little hope in sight. Even with success, Ireland's Acorns spells mediocrity at best.

The stadium emptied out..........shocking! Who's the architect?
 
I love how people always use 5th, 6th, and 7th round picks when bashing Ireland. At that point getting a quality backup is what you're aiming for.

You still have to make the offer to the right UDFA. So Ireland still get the credit.

I get a kick out of coments like this. Miami went 0-7, suddenly they go 6-3. This obviously wasn't a talent issue. It's a coaching issue. That's why Sparono is gone and Ireland is still here. This team has talent. It took the coaching staff half the season to learn how to use it.
 
I think Clyde Gates fits with WCO. Bess too. you have to remember before he was drafting for sparano (lets get columbo) and Parcell type offenses (Lets get pat white).
