well I don´t remember if every year, but al most pero year he lost 2 or 3 gamesm we need a good backup for him....

Yes he does.I have my strong personal opinions about him which I express everytime time a poll comes out for the most overrated player but I am in the minority and I dont want to make any more enemies.;)
 
Konrad is a good fb, a great receiver. He has soft hands out of the backfield. Crunchtime i respect the opinion man, but i cant think of any other fb id rather have in our system.

Yes, he is a dang fine FB. He has been under utilized when he has been in the game. But I agree with Mindwarp, I too would like to see him have fuill season. Konrad could, if he stayed healthy, be one of the best FBs in the game today. He has the hands, the blocking presence and the power to be one of the best.
 
He was Awesome as a RB in college with Donovan McNabb. I remember just tuning in to watch the two of them together at Syracuse.

But he got banged up a lot in college, and that was the knock on him around here (although I think last year he was fairly healthy).

- Your right , he was getting banged up in College as well. I do agree with evrything in this thread: He gets banged up every year (Nature of the position, his size?) , overrated , but that is because he is under utilized .
 
I wish the guy could get on the field. I know he could wreak havoc on LBers....we need that short pass outlet.
 
Not having Konrad is another unnoticed but BIG PROBLEM with our Offense. From blocking for the QB, the quick routes, to lead blocking for the RB.

That's one of the things that is frustrating - but lacks much attention because it's difficult to watch our team now. But we would be better on Offense if Konrad was ablel to play....

with konrad out, our offense changes...he picks up blitzes well...hes a clutch bail out receiver...and can spread the field out of the backfield...
