Can NFL teams ask about sexuality?

no offense but u sound pretty homophobic, u do realize there are homosexuals already in the nfl.

So if I made the the woman's beach volleyball team, I should be allowed to shower with them? No difference imho

Remember what the doormouse said, feed your head!

Some people really are ignorant about the United States in 2013...

It's only a matter of time when a current player in the Top 4 sports comes out when he is playing...

Are u a woman. A homosexual man is not a woman lol. There are homosexual men in the league already.

Yup, there are homosexual men and women in every profession - once the first NFL player comes out (while active) I think the floodgates will open. I'm heterosexual, but have had/do have gay friends for most of my life and I've never felt weirded out in their presence or feared them eyeballing me - they respect the fact that I'm straight and that's that. That said, I also played football most of my life (not in the NFL unfortunately) and the lockeroom atmosphere was, and probably still is, quite homophobic so it may take a while for those types of issues to go away.

Federal law prevents you from asking prospective employees about sexual history or orientation.

No...they cant ask

You have to be creative with your questions like below

Far be it for me to take up for Ireland but after his Bryant debacle I think he may have learned alot

I respectfully have to disagree with you. Whenever a team is trying to figure out the mental stability of a player to which they may pay millions of dollars, the question that was posed to Dez Bryant was appropriate.

Ireland was and is ridiculed unfairly ever since. Bryant had and has many questions marks regarding his personal character.

Hate to tell you the money is relative, you dont just make up your own code of ethics because it involves money. Also Jeff Ireland is not qualified to determine the mental stability of any player .
