Its all good that we pick him up I am %100 glad this team made a move that makes sense for a pleasant change... My Question is can he do what no one on our D besides Jones can do? CAN HE TACKLE?

Tannchise, not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but according to what I read after they waived him, they waived him because he wasn't a fit for Bowles scheme.

He could help the run defense and LB's by setting the edge. The Jets are going to try to run it Sunday. Maybe he can help.

so far everything im hearing is this guy will be a good addition to our team. Still young, and playing with Suh. If that doesnt motivate him, i dont know what will.

He's been productive. Obviously something behind the scenes w Bowles - and I bet it was more than "doesn't fit the scheme". Glad we nabbed him.

I'm interested to see him play and it is definitely worth the shot the Fins took on claiming him.

I never thought I'd say this, but if playing next to Suh motivates him to play at his best and he turns into a stud pass rusher for us, then we can thank the Jets for helping us out in a round about way.

I doubt we would have made this move if Philbin was still here... Hopefully he has a positive impact on the game and sticks with the team. I think its a positive for us to go get someone who is a potential above average player in the league without spending a draft pick to get him... We have added a talent and without messing with the potential to fix holes in the future (draft)...

Having said that my expectations are still at a serious low so whatever happens with Copels I wont be upset in any way...

You guys here are expecting to much from a guy that was just cut. Let see if he can produce on field before giving him all this praise.

Personally I am not expecting anything but I do think it is a positive move by an organisation that doesn't have a history of making the right moves. I don't think there is much risk here but the upside is obvious.

I'm shocked Miami made an effort to better their team during the season. If it works out it's great. If not there's no harm.

Will see. Not sure he'll be worth his option next year. Isn't it like 7.5 million. Depending on how he looks maybe we can sign him to a new deal. Be'd great if he could step up its a need area for sure
