Can Saban file a grievance?

why dont we just move on. dirty play is advocated by a few coaches out there. i support it. the game is getting too soft if you ask me.
then again, i didn't see the shot. if i had, i might feel your frustration but i still think the game is becoming flag football.
It was a chop block from behind 20 yards away from the play after it was basically over.

Sorry Flint but I think you are way off base here. The game has gotten quicker and the players have gotten bigger. The NFL is a business and what brings you, me and everyone else to the games is the talent on the field. If we start allowing the late hits, forearms to the heads, clothesline tackles and so on...who is going to be left to watch after a while. For you to say that you support dirty play, I believe is irresponsible and not how I want a team that I root for be labeled.

you support dirty play? ... you know, it was passable 30-40 years ago when the players were usually no more than 230 pounds and ran 4.7 ... but it's a little different today... it's still very violent, and fans pay to see stars, not replacement leaguers... however, perhaps you relish watching a young athletes carted off the field on a stretcher... that your idea of fun?

Yea, lets support late hits, chop blocks and dirty play for the fans thrill. Lets see how many players we can knock out of the games, out for the year and end their career. They could even start new stats for that. :shakeno:

i think it sucks that it happend but im not all that upset cuz he wasnt going to play that much this year anyway.. am i right? im more upset about boston's neck injury

That is pretty callous, no matter if he was going to play for us at all, it was still someone who was hurt on an unnecessary play. So we don't care if it is a back up but we do if it is a prominent player? Give me a break.....and get your head on straight!:fire:

ok. two hand touch.
surely i dont support any illegal act that is intentional which would be described as "dirty" but i do have a problem with the level of scrutiny that is placed on some of the hits on QBs before / after delivery or use of the head / helmet on a tackle. i'm sorry but the game is becoming too contrived maybe? i support the spontaneity of the game, responsible as possible but anything else takes away from the game.

it also irks me the way NBA players exaggerate the degree contact to draw fouls.

the amount of money these guys receive for keeping in shape, traveling and then playing one game a week, i think we should have football and let them earn it and let me get my money's worth.

this is my gripe when a call goes against my team, of course.

in this case i didnt see it so i really dont have any feelings one way or another other than regret that vickerson will be sidelined temporarily. but to protest is just downright lame.
