can someone explain the refs we get and their creative use of instant replay?

anyone remember the hold they called on jake long when we were digging out from our endzone? we see calls like this every week... its good to see the team fight through the calls and pull out a couple wins! maybe tannehill can prove he belongs here to the league and we will get taken seriously

The tuck rule is the dumbest rule in sports. If that is concidered an incomplete pass, then shouldnt it be intentional grounding? IMO, if the ball doesnt go past the LOS if the QB loses his grip, then it should be a fumble. Also, why isnt the clock play intentional grounding? The QB is within the tackle box, and there's no eligible recievers.

Exactly!!! If it is an incomplete pass, then it should be intentional grounding because when the F***uck rule is applied you rarely see a receiver, RB or TE near the ball. At this pace the NFL will have more points than a Basketball game because almost all the rules help the offense, it is ridiculous enough that you have to sack a QB below the neck and above the knees (but also with moderate strenght), then you see a QB running and it is like the defender doesn´t even make an effort to tackle him he just runs in the way forcing the QB to "slide", then the Brady rule (thuck) and the new rules that almost give all the rights to the receiver. That is why you see Brees, Brady, Rodgers and almost every QB making ridiculous amount of yardage. The FB is dissapearing and the RB will be a thing of the past. This used to be a physical game. It must be frustrating to cover a WR or trying to Sack a QB under this rules.

two weeks in a row we got completely hosed by the refs. yet two wins, it shows just how much fight we have within our team. they are an extremely driven bunch that wants to win now and forever, I love it.

dont forget the infamous "scrum" rule in the endzone when the opposing team gets the football but because there is a "scrum" the officials dont even have to see who gets the ball.

can someone please explain why that is so? I was hoping when Vick fumbled that ball into the endzone that there was a scrum, but no, no scrum for the scrum rule. LOL what a f'n joke.

you cant tell me this league isnt fixed. You just have to overcome it with a great QB and coach and win and they will come around.

It always helps if your coach ends up on the rules committee ala jeff fisher.

I am pretty sure that there is a ref that is no longer allowed to do games in an NFL city. Not sure who it is, maybe Triplett or that guy who had cancer...anyway I don't think Gene Steratore and his Pittsburgh crew should ever be allowed to ref a Dolphin game again. The guy is just so bad and always finds a way to make the call against us. I'm serious, that guy sucks so bad and I've seen him in other games where he's pretty repectable, but get him in a Dolphins game and he just finds ways to screw us. I wish the fans could be privy to the marks that the NFL hands out to these clowns after the game. I just bet he had a pretty low mark yesterday...the ****ing Pittsburgh bastard.
