Unfortunatley I won't be home on draft day and so will not be able to watch the first round :(

so it would be really, really great if someone could write me a text-message who we did draft and maybe a little breakdown how the draft went so far.. I'd be so happy if a fellow Dolfan would help me out in this case :)

and obviously I live in Germany so I think it'd be cheaper for someone who lives in Europe or ideally Germany ;)

If you can get online, there will be up to the minute updates on Finheaven. It is probably the busiest day on Finheaven all year, well that and Training Camp.

Thats the problem.. I can't get online because I am away and do not have an iPhone so I am just relying on text-messages or I'd have to check how we did in the draft when I get home but that would be hours later.. I'd get crazy if I look on the clock and think "We are on the clock at this time" and then not to know who we picked..

I think that these NFL.com alerts just work for customers in the US and not in Germany so that also doesn't work.
 
we will pick around short before 1am in Germany because the average of how long a team needs to pick in the 1st round is 7 minutes..

i still think we're going to be closer to the 10 minute limit. last year, pretty much everyone used up their allotted time of 15 minutes, which led to the longest first round ever. that was close to 7 hours. now, we're probably down to 5 hours for round 1. so, i guess we'll be picking anywhere between 3 and 4 hours, probably closer to 4.

do you have aol instant messenger? or if someone else does, they can text you using that. It's a neat feature, you just do +1, the area code, and the number, and you can chat with someone.

I use that feature a lot, I don't have a cell phone, but I use aol instant messenger a lot to message my friends that have a cell phone.
