How other teams seem to be signing free agents prior to the fa period. Why haven't we heard anything from the Fins? If we a potential landing spot for some of these top free agents, and we have all this cap room, I would of assumed since every other teams seem to have "signed" (I know not officially till Tuesday), why haven't we?

Players who are "released" by their teams can be signed by other team at anytime. That is what you are seeing.

a lot of teams actually do their players favors by cutting them early which allows them to find work while teams still have lots of money prior to free agency.

The only real free agent Miami is interested in that can sign right now is Louis Delmas. According to reports Delmas and the team are working on getting a deal done. Guys like Saffold, Albert and Monroe can't sign with any team until Tuesday.
