If he plays well this week, will the forum ease up or, see it as a fluke?
 
It takes more then one average or good game! He needs to be consistently good!
 
Ive been easy on him for 2 years. I want to see vast improvement this year starting 2 games ago.
 
Quiet me personally? No.

He has to play well this week, especially considering how poor that defense has been vs. QB's so far into 2014. I want to see him put together a string of games for some of the criticisms to die down.
 
If he can't play well, against a decimated KC team at home, after that dud last week, he needs to be benched !!!
 
Just show improvement. Take care of the ball. Show more accuracy.

I am so rooting for him, but he needs to get better.

One good game here and there is the definition of mediocrity. The better question would be "If RT has a good game this week, SHOULD the board ease up?" And the answer to that is "no." Until RT shows he can play with consistency at a level that translates into wins, any criticism of his play is valid and the team should be looking for his replacement.
