Can The Florida Panthers Ownership Please...

It doesnt, it shows they know how to manage a sports franchise and deliver consistent winning results, which our ownership has proven they cannot do in the slightest.
Yeah Ok but the NHL is starkly different than an NFL team. It's like saying Michael Jordan can play baseball, kinda but not very well.

I agree, but if you start off two franchises from the start and give one the Dolphins FO and the other Panthers FO, I have way more faith in the Panthers ownership to produce a winner even with no experience in the NFL.

Thats how little I think of our FO/ownership

It's not even that.
We just need a competent owner, something the Panthers ownership has shown in the NHL.

Grier has been here too long but our dinosaur owner still keeps him.
Panthers ownership got rid of Tallon, who had enough time to build a winner, and the former coach.
They quickly learned not to meddle in operations. They gave both GM's a blank check to build a winner and didn't dictate on who to keep or trade.

Bill Zito, the current GM of the Panthers shipped off Jonathan Huberdeau after a career season for Tkachuk. At the time Huberdeau was in his prime, all time points leader etc... Ownership didn't step in. They let the GM do his job.

Everyone says Ross is hands off, but I think he meddles ALOT more than any of us realize. I keep hearing rumors and snippets about it, I'm almost certain he does way more behind the scenes.

They may know how to run a hockey organization, but what does that have to do with running a football organization?

Some people 😂

If this is the kind of thread that’s going to be started it’s going to be a loooooong off season.

Look at the Washington Redskins/Football Team/Commanders. They brought in bunch a ‘basketball guys’ and made the NFC championship game immediately. And where did those guys come from? The Golden State Warriors.

Trade FOs between the Panthers and Dolphins, and in 3-5 years, one will be competitive and another one won’t. The ‘hockey guys’ would hire a few needed people and figure it out

Pat Riley has lost his marbles. Mad respect for him and what he’s done, but he needs to retire… the Biden comparison is an apt one… saw Riley give a speech at half time for Michael Cooper’s jersey retirement here in LA and it was really bad… Magic had to come grab the mic from him cause he was in La La land.

Made the Stanley cup finals the last 2 seasons and won it last year, and will probably win again this year?
Damn, I dont follow hockey, but you shut that clueless fool down. Knowing now that they went to Superbowl of hockey 2 years in a row NY8123 might as well have said "What have the Chiefs done lately." Talk about getting owned.

The funny thing is they’re probably closer to the Eagles in the best possible ways.

They smartly locked their core up on team friendly, long-term deals and did it with the correct expectation that the cap is going up.

I highly recommend you turn on Round 2 versus the aura-less Toronto Maple Leafs and fully expect for you to fall in love with this Panthers group
