no offense to you but who gives a crap? i'd rather suck for 5 straight years and win a superbowl on the 6th than to be 10-6 and bounced in the 1st or 2nd rd every year.

True dat. I used to cling to this philosophy in the early 90s when I went to college in Rochester, NY and the Bills kept beating our butts. I would always say ''but no one has won more games in history, etc., yadda yadda yadda." Somehow, it didn't work then. Doesn't work now, either.

I want Superbowls dammit!

That's the age old argument. The problem is that in the real world, you are not guaranteed anything.

Me? I'd rather the Dolphins be good than suck. I'd prefer a realistic chance each year rather than the pipe dream of worst to first. Fin fans have a very recent comparison they can make. Did you prefer 2002 when a strong team had injury problems and two late season losses that kept them out of the playoffs or 2004 when the team had no chance? Remember, there are no guarantees of future success. Also, no crap about 2004 being better because it caused a regime change.

That article covers every team from the AFC. It is only a small part.

While I will not argue that being a consistently winning team is a greater accomplishment than winning Superbowls, it is still a great accomplishment and something to be proud of. Being the winningest team since the AFL-NFL merger is definitely something to be proud of.

Buffalo playing in four straight Superbowls is a great accomplishment, just because they lost them all doesn't mean it wasn't something they should be proud of.

Oh, I'm proud alright. I'm just tired of it being the only thing I can really brag about, being a Dolphins fan. The last time they took the title, i was seven months old, and the last time they were in the SuperBowl, I was in sixth grade.

Hey, but at the very least, it is nice to feel we're in it every year (well, except for last year, coached by he-who-shall-not-be-named).
