People know we're decent now, they probably think we're a 7-9 win team.
So to be a suprise team, we'd have to go 12-4. I don't think it's unrealistic, I'm projecting us to have a 10-6 season.

I think we are even more hungry than last year, although thats arguable since we were a 1-15 team on the rebound. This squad is improved and expects to win a playoff game this year.

If our game plan is effective, and we keep those turnovers down we weill stay in a bunch of close exciting games.

I would say we have only 3 gaurenteed losses, one vrs the Pats, just because we always seem to take one from them. One loss from the AFC South, i think we'll beat the Colts and they're rookie coaches, and we'll probably lose to either the Titans or Texans, i think we match up well vrs the Jags and Titans however. We'll also have one loss from the NFC South, either the Saints or Carolina putting up 30 on us. Falcons and Bucs are overratted.

While 8-8 is expectable, 10-6 is within reach, 12-4 is just us playing our game. We have the coaching staff, and we're getting there with contributors. Just stay hungry and we got this.

I don't think we will surprise anybody but if we play with some swagger we will make
the playoffs and go far this year.

I was under the impression you can't be a surprise (in a positive way) two years in a row.

On the most common power rankings, we are around 20 - 26 so everything we do, will be a surprise.....

Just to let you know... surprise for the rest of the world not for us on FINHEAVEN....

We know we'll KICK @$$...

We'll be a surprise to those morons who ranled a division winner so low, to me, it wont be a surprise because I expect us to win.

how can we be a surprise team we dont have the illustious Sage Rosenfelds and we dont have the Randy putting Zach Thomas in a aluiminum garbage can and banging on the lid so i dont see how we can suprise anyone this year .

seriously i think we will win 6 or 7 games this year and then next year we will be a
13 - 3 team .

6 wins? and then what Henne comes in and leads us to a 13-3, yeah right.
It's more likely to go 12-4 this year and 6-10 when Henne starts.

if you go 11-5 and everyone thinks it's because of an easy schedule and a Bradyless weak division, then yeah. Everyone thinks were the 20th best team right now.. We'd suprise them if we were top 5

well, you got yer quantum physics & you got yer probabilities & ever so often you got yer surprises. so the answer is yes... & no... & not likely.

I could see us being a way better team after this year. Simply because the youth will have more experience and another year to get depth at key positions such as the OLINE and NT/OLB.

Expectations are in the eye of the beholder imo. While I believe in MIA division there will be lumps to be had in the secondary. That youth will struggle against the WR's in the EAST. While that same youth will have to learn to play and defend against some of the best qb's in the game today. Big Ben, Brady, Manning to name a few will put MIA young corners to the test. To think that youth will step in and be pro ready game 1 isn't being realistic, hopeful, but not realistic.

Last year AZ put it on MIA early. This year ATL and IND early in the year, with the one having all world qb and the other having a nice rushing att. complimented by a pretty good second year qb. MIA will struggle. Each game will be tough, no gimmes this year. NO KC, NO OAK, NO SF....

I hope we finish 9-7. But youth don't always pan out.

I entirely disagree that Miami will have to win 12 games to be a surprise. If Miami makes the playoffs, that would have to be considered a surprise considering the #1 schedule, being 2 years away from a one win season and the fact that Miami has a team in their division that went undefeated in the regular season two years ago and is coming back with a vengeance.

If Miami makes the playoffs this upcoming season, this franchise would have to be considered a mini-juggernaut in the conference considering the fact that the playoff trips would be 100% attributed to the coaching staff abilities. Add to the coaching staff a couple of years of assembling/selecting players ontop of the 2 playoff appearances with player personnel that the coaching staff had to swallow... and boom.

You have a franchise fan base that will be on "Excitement for the Future" Cloud #9.

The Phins are going to have to surprise again b/c so far it seems like they aren't being respected, again.
