Can we beat the jets? I think so. I think that the jets are overrated. I think that Brett Favre is overrated. I think that the Jets got lucky when they beat us before, and we had not yet come into our own yet. We beat a tough team today in the niners, and I think that we still were not at the top of our game. I think that we are still going to get better game by game and win the AFC East. I might be an optimist, but great things do not happen if no one believes.
 
Yes, but the O needs to play a lot better than it did in the 2nd half today.
 
Brett is wearing down. He dosen't have the same zip on the ball as he did at the begining of the season. The Bills handed the Jets the game today. Miami will beat the Jets.

you mean the O needs to play better and henning needs to change his play calling when we have a lead of 4 pts or more.

you notice how aggressive we are in the 1st quarter and 2nd then once we have the lead we stop? and how hwen we are down we are aggressive and rarely get stopped but its already too late at times.
 
Beating the Jets is something we can do. There rush defense is wearing down allowing over 150 to the Bills today. Also, with JP LOSSman at QB they still allowed them to score close to 30 points. We will win by ponding the rock and playing mistake free football, the way we have played all year.

it all comes down to pressure on farve and turning plays like that prayer of a lob in the endzone into turn overs then yeah we can beat them .. logically if we can beat the 49ers and the 49ers beat the Jets shouldn't we be able to beat the jets?? and the 49ers roughed up the jets too .. not just hung in there but really put it to them
 
The Jets have been atrocious for the last 3 weeks. They remind me of the Mets. Good all season and then suck at the eve of the playoff season. The Jets have no Pass Rush, meaning they give QB's all day to the throw the ball. Pennington will make you pay if you give him a lot of time. They made SF look like a playoff team last week because they applied NO PRESSURE. Favre is showing his age. He didn't have a TD pass for 2 games, even though he is BRETT FAVRE. Also, if you thought we have a bad Secondary, look at theirs. They rank 29th in defending the pass. They rank 5th in defending the run, but they had a hard time containing Buffalo's run game.

However, their RB's, you could say, are better than ours due to their O-Line. If we stop the run and force Favre to throw all day while applying pressure, we will win.
