First, Ronnie Brown IMO is the better of the 2 Tiger backs selected from this years draft. Ronnie also picked up BLTIZES made a Pro Bowl catch and showed his athletic ability more than a few times. Ronnie will be the next Tomlison.

Now,
I said the first 2 games of the season were so important for us. With the Jets in a little Funk right now, do you guys feel confident we can get this done on their home turf and get some pay back from last years MNF?

I think we can go in there right now and take advantage of a JETS team that is having their own set of Problems on the D line and O line. This wouldn't be an easy win at all, IM sure the Jets understand the position they are in and they are getting it right now on the RADIO in New York, especially Chad.

IM listening to the FAN in New York right now and they keep talking about how bad the O line played for the Jets and how Fabini just looked terrible and the few loses they had, really did show. They are also talking about the lack of pressure the JETS D line put on KC and JETS fans are calling and talking about the LOSS of Ferguson.

I think we can get pressure on Chad and Stop Martin. He still hasn't adjusted to the new offense and this is the time to take advantage of it. From what IM hearing, Martin has finally lost a step? I heard he looks sluggish getting to the hole, its about time, he is 32 years old.

If we get this win? We will make a push for the playoffs, thats how important it is to us. And I think that Saban will reverse the December Jinx and have us back to how we played in the Winter under Shula. If I remember right, we were one of the best teams in the NFL under Shula, during the Winter Months.

How do you guys feel about this? IM PSYCHED!!!!!!!!!

yes as long as they dont get too high on themselves now. but saban said its right back to work tuesday. i dont think he is as lax as wanny was after wins.

Good Point. I didn't hear Saban say " Monday Off " I hated when Wanny did that. You don't give a Monday off unless your team just won a big time game for a playoff spot or won a Division Title.

Saban also gave game Balls to everyone. I seen him talk to the team on channel 212, Direct TV after the game. He seemed a little excited, but Even Keel.

Im undecided.... You know the Jets well be p*ssed about losing that game.. and being embarassed badly... Also as someone mentioned on this board.. if they go down by 2 games... they might be fighting for their playoff LIVES! WE''LL SEE

But then winning is infectious.. and contageous. Its easier to motivate these players now it seems they all have bought into the system more than any of us ever knew.

We'll see exactly what we're made of on Sunday!

IF Curtis Martin is finally slowing down (and it *has* to happen sooner or later, age affects everybody) then letting Lamont Jordan go might prove to be the biggest mistake the Jets have made recently. Ok, they have Blaylock, but does anybody think he's as good as Jordan?

The next big mistake for the Jets might prove to be not getting a better backup QB. Pennington might not ever be the same again after that shoulder surgery and you do NOT want Jay Fiedler starting for your team... trust me on this.

The Dolphins still have lots of improvement to make. The penalties and turnovers must be reduced, the running game still needs work, there were some deep passes that got dropped by Boston and Chambers, etc.

The Broncos were not ready for the heat and humidity and getting punched in the face by an aggressive Dolphins team.

The Jets are not as bad as what they showed against the Chefs either, though Penny may still be healing up from that shoulder surgery.

All that said, I really like the Phins chances in the Meadowlands. Worry about winning your division games first and foremost, so this game means more than a win versus the Broncos to start the Saban Era.

I'll say 27-20 Phins over Jets. :D

2-0 here we come. I never could have expected such an amazing performance as I saw when the Dolphins spanked the Donkies, on both sides of the ball. Our players are really buying into Saban's system and it showed Sunday.

There's no reason to believe we can't go into the Meadowlands and win again. Especially after the Jets pathetic display in KC. I'm confident in another win. Go Dolphins!

We can`t have as many penalties against the Jets as we did yesterday. If we can fix the stupid mental lapses, and the defense plays as aggressively as they did yesterday, then good things are going to happen. The Jets are going to play better than they did against KC, that`s a given. Question is can we keep the intensity?

If the game comes down to clock management then I'd safely say that we have the advantage.

Of course we can carry this into the meadowlands..With Pennington's lame duck arm that he was tossing ducks everywhere yesterday..We're gonna hit him in the jaw and make them bring Fiedler out and it'll be over. It seems like he's NOT very healed at all..If he was playing how he was yesterday.

On a completely different side note .. anyone else let out a laugh when the Jets new highly drafted Placekicker slipped on his first NFL attempt? I mean in no way is this saying he isnt a good placekicker .. but just the fact that it happened to the Jets ... lol ... and knowing ... they were all like .. yes .. here comes our new kicker, then could hear the collective Jets fans all across the nation cussing their ***** off.

oh yeah .. I think we can compete and come away with a victory.

i dont think this win will "carry over". but you still may win. (if that makes sence). by wed, they will be thinking about the jets, not the broncos.

I'm sure the Fins can but like I said in another thread, although the Jets are notorious for slow starts after the whipping they took Sunday they maybe fired up and ready to kill someone this week at their home opener.

We gotta come out and dictate the LOS. We all now the Fins are a better team t6han the 4-12 record of last season, now it's time to show the rest of the league.
