Re-building implies that there was actually something built before. As usual, the Dolphins are merely building (toward what I don't know), like they have for the past decade.

No. The Brandon Marshall trade had been in the works for a while, but I don't think we were ready to pull the trigger. This recent incident put us in a tough spot, and in the end, they decided to get rid of him. We're talking to Manning, we're talking to Flynn, and at the moment I'm hoping they'll try and fill the hole at wideout at some point in this offseason. Going into the year with Hartline, Bess, and Gates is a deathwish.

I've asked this 100 times. What are they rebuilding from? What team that goes 20-28 in 3 years rebuilds?

I think you are all jumping the gun. Let the free agency and draft pas before making assumptions. This site is getting to be sooooooo bad!!!

Rebuilding means not signing older veteran players. Even Eric Winston would be borderline IMO.

Rebuilding means clearing cap space and getting younger.

FA's like Reggie Nelson,Trevor Scott,Pat Simms, and Richard Marshall would all be good choices in a rebuilding year. Peyton Manning wouldn't, and really they should draft a QB instead of signing Flynn.

I would also qualify Kevin Smith RB as a good choice for the rebuilding Dolphins. If he is healthy he is better than Thomas. If he is injured, Thomas is a decent enough backup.

Slaton sucks!

Dont you have to have a good foundation to rebuild something? Last time I checked Ross and Ireland are the foundation and I dont think I need to comment on that. This organization is a joke.

This site isn't what's bad!!! The front office and the terrible moves this organization makes is what's atrocious.

Everything you're seeing on the site is called a "reaction" to what has happened.

Cause & effect.
Action (or in Miami's case, lack of action) & Reaction

I'm pretty sure most of the fans on here are more interested in Cosmo and TMZ drama than actual football. Get a grip girls.

All valid, and good points. But prey tell, would you want to "settle" for one of the young guys out there just to go young and draft the future? I'm not sure about you, but beyond Luck & RG3 (who we're obviously not getting either) I'm not impressed with the QB class. Weedon's too old, and I'm just not sold on Tannehill.

So again I ask, do you draft a QB just to do it? Or use the picks to fill other holes?
