Can we now admit Jason Allen is a bust..

This guy was used and abused the whole game. Sure he is going one on one verus Randy Moss, a sure hall of famer but come on now atleast try and make a play. He flat out played like garbage. I hope they find a reason to get rid of him next season. He is no help to this team no matter if he plays saftey or the cb spot. It is now obvious to me now that Miami should use their 1st draft pick on next year on a physical cb. I could care less who he is but they need help at that spot asap. For all the Jason Allen lovers out their i am sorry i just cant take watching him anymore.
 
Um, just about any CB in the league would get abused by Moss one on one, Allen did good on him in my opinion, and to top it off, he never had safety help whatsoever... not like thats new or anything though.
 
Good grief. Randy Moss is one of the best, if not the best wide receiver in all of football and it's not even debatable. Jason Allen isn't exactly the best cover corner in the game so let's all admit that Allen was CLEARLY overmatched. Moss is what-6'5? Moss also makes unbelievable circus catches(see third touchdown).

Jason Allen is coming along nicely I think and we're a draft pick away(ie: Vontae Davis, Malcolm Jenkins) from being a very respectable secondary. Jason Allen was not the problem today.

Bill Belichick is the best coach the NFL has seen since Jimmy Johnson and Don Shula. We know his track record. He doesn't lose two games in a row. He is now 17 - 1 after a loss. We embarrassed the Patriots at home in week 3 and there was no way that the Patriots weren't going to come down here and try to embarrass us. Belichick also had an extra few days to prepare for this game. Advantage: Patriots.

Give Jason Allen a break.
 
Jason Allen was the reason Renaldo Hill was able to pick the ball off. I don't care who you are, even if you're Asomugha or Bailey, you cannot cover Moss one on one... The whole defense played horrible today. Even when we got pressure on Cassell, he still completed passes...
 
You do realize that Randy Moss has abused CB's that are far better than Jason Allen during his career, don't you? There's a reason why many have Randy pegged to go to Canton.

Are you kidding me?

Jason Allen single handledley covered Moss. There's no question he was being picked on quite often, but I think he covered more during the game then what he allowed.

He's not the all-star we had hoped, but he can hold up on his own.

Get your head out of your ***. He coverd J. Gafney for six receptions and 88 yards before being moved to Moss and after two tds was moved off the field albeit too late. Open your eyes what game did you watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

did you watch the dolphins game? or were you watching some other guy with a #32 on his jersey???? cause obviously you dont know what the hell you were seeing. Allen was responsible for the Hill Interception, which stalled a NE drive and led to 7 points for us. he had blanket coverage on moss the whole game, and got beat on two VERY nicely executed plays by BOTH Moss AND CASSELL. he also had perfect coverage that lead to a ball being thrown out of bounds when they were trying to hit Moss as well.

Allen played very well, sorry to say.
 
JA played in the Nickel, remember all those big third down conversions to Gaffney, that was JA, Bellicheats game plan was to attack Allen, and boy was that succesfull. That being said, a piss poor pass rush really exposed our sub par secondary.
