Maybe it is me getting older but the more I hear the PA announcer says, "and that's another Miami Dolphins first down" it just makes me cringe. The crowd pretty much doesn't even scream first down anymore and on TV is comes across even worse. Touchdowns are to be celebrated. Turnovers are to be celebrated. First downs are part of the game and should be achieved. Granted they are tougher to get for us but this cheer is almost as annoying as Landry was with his first down finger point.
