Is Brown the ONLY key component to an effective Wildcat formation for the Dolphins? Can White fill Brown's shoes (as effectively) if Brown is sidelined?

Honestly no one does it better than Brown. He practices it more than any running back in the league. I've watched other teams do it, and while some have had success with it, none of them has done it better than Ronnie. With that said I think we'll see less of the Wildcat because now we have a legit WR. The wildcat was a thing to mix things up, because everyone knew we were going to run the ball more than passing, Ted Ginn wasn't scaring no one, so the Wildcat was to try to keep the defense guessing.

I'm sure, with a healthy Brown on-board, that we'll see the Wildcat more often on games where the clock is running down and points are needed to win the game. But remember, Marshall will open-up the field making it a better situation for the run (Wildcat). A healthy Brown will make a gigantic difference come gameday.

Henne, Marshall, and Brown (Williams also) are the guys that will carry this team (mostly) to the promise land.

I think it has already been proven that Ronnie is what really makes the Wildcat flourish. Ricky did do well in it once Ronnie went down, but it just wasn't the same. Pretty big reason why they hardly used it late in the year.

Even with the addition of Marshall, I think the Wildcat will be alive and well this season.

At this point the wildcat is more effective with Brown, than without. There was hope last year the the wild Pat would add a new dangerous component (the threat of run or pass), but we all know how that turned out last year. That said, with the Marshall acquisition there maybe less play run out of the wildcat than last year anyways.

cobbs was a very big part of the wild cat last year too, I remember when he went down the wild cat was not the same

How is Brown progressing in regards to his fractured foot?

I wasn't even sure this was a serious question at first. Brown runs the Wildcat very very well and Pat White looked pretty bad last year no matter what he was doing on the field. I know he was a rookie but even if you think he's going to be a solid player there's just nothing to suggest at this point that he'd be able to run the WC as good as Ronnie.

Brown is the reason that the Wildcat was a success, White cannot fill his shoes. I also predict Brown throwing Brandon a TD pass this season out of the wildcat offense.

Right.

NEWS FLASH :::The Dolphins never ran it after Brown went down.

Ricky taken a direct snap is not the wildcat.

Pat White who's a " QB " running a spread offense...... Is not the wildcat.

It seems some fan's eyes have lied to them, the players and coaches have all came out and said they never ran it after brown went down.

When Brown went down last year you could see the wildcat not being run as smoothly as it did when he was in which, eventually the dolphins got away from it totally. With a healthy Brown & Cobbs we will definately see it ran more effectively and having Marshall in it will only open up the possibilities to what they can do out of it.

As long as we have a fantastic run blocking team with great blocking TE's.. We have a huge wall to run behind. That helps us and that's how we use our team to their strengths. Marshall, White, Ricky, Cobbs and Ronnie will all see time on the field I'm sure. I could see Ricky, White and Cobbs all filling in what Ricky mainly does. All of them can catch out of it. Ronnie and White can QB it and use each other as a distraction, pass it to each other backwards and then throw down field =D
