If Dante can't come back next year from injury can the Dolphins by improving their offensive line and adding a sure handed receiver make it to the playoffs with Joey? He wouldn't have to be a great QB just cut down on his mistakes.

yes

that IS what defines a winning qb..someone who doesnt make mistakes....has a good O-Line, a RB to take the load off....and a WR to make plays wherever you put the ball

Cut down on his mistakes like what??

learn how to read a defense??

Joey will always have that one bonhead throw, that will make you wonder wtf hes doin on an NFL team. Other than that, he is a decent QB

His "mistakes" are what make him a sub-par starter. He has been doing that consistently for years. I don't see him getting much better.

Yes win can win with Joey and we already have and surround him with more talent and an offense that can consistanly have a running attack and that makes any QB better

Can you please name that "talent" around him??

and are you aware that we are the 27th in rushing??

Same could be said about Daunte Culpepper.

Joey wishes he could fit into Culpeppers jock strap...

Daunte brings twice as much to the table as Joey. Dont get me wrong, I will still cheer for Joey to succeed.

I think Joey was ruined by his experiences in Detroit. How often do you see a QB fail miserably in one city and then succeed in another...not very often. Tim Couch, Ryan Leaf to name a couple who tried. Football is unique in that it seems QB's never fully recover from a bad start to their career. I think we've seen the best of Harrington. I'd compare him to Rex Grossman without the arm strength. He'll never be a game managment QB.

In what city has Harrington "succeeded" in??

Joey can read defenses, DC can't (he showed that with his play this year).

And yes we can win with Joey. Fix the O-line and the catching skill of our receivers and we're set on offense.

he never said anything about joey succeeding anywhere. just stating that a young qb who starts off horribly with first team will not likely improve once with another team.
