Can You Believe This, ¿?¿?¿?

We all need to remember...The Jests were not as bad as they looked Sunday, and the Fins were not a good as we looked...but it'll be a good game one way or the other...

I don't want to sound like less of a Dolphin fan, however thinking back towards the game there is plenty of room for improvement. A lot of Bronco mistakes and STUPID decisions helped lead to the loss. I think Miami is going to have to play better to win on the road without the heat.

Unfortunately, IMO, everytime you post it sounds like you aren't a Dolphins fan. I hardly ever see you post anything positive. Not one game played yesterday was perfect. It is still the 1st game after all and saw alot of improvement from last year. So IMO, if they did that much improvement in 1 game, they are just going to get better as the season progresses. But again, this is just my personal opinion. GO DOLPHINS!!!!!!!!

Fins won, but looked pretty bad
Just watched the fins/broncos game (that short cuts on sunday ticket is making me think about getting superfan), and miami didn't look great, but the broncos were PATHETIC.

The fins D looked solid, but does the Ferotte/Booker/Brown combo really strike fear in anyone? They got a few big plays to pad the score (like JT's fumble return at the end and that crazy 61 yd reverse), but otherwise the offense looked pretty damn anemic against a Broncos D that couldn't find its a$$ with both hands...

Jets 17-7, provided penny only fumbles twice and coles only drops a couple.

(long time lurker, 1st post. and as bad as that game was, at least we moved the ball. I remember the game against the raiders under kotite where we got whopped in the pouring rain... THAT was bad, and I caught a cold.)

This post makes me sick! :fire: :fire:
Who the hell is Mr. Austin and why do I care what he says??

my post count is over 5,000, I am sure a vast majority of those are very positive towards the phins. Maybe you just remember the ones where I am a little critical.

I am not being negative, I am just looking at it logically. Miami did play good and did a lot of great things yesterday. I loved watching the game and am very happy with the win. However if they play like that every game they will lose more then they win. They had three big turnovers. They had stupid penalties. They had the other team making stupid decisions and not making the plays they needed to win.

Did I see a lot of improvement over last year? Well yes especially on pass blocking. Do I want to see Miami play better, hell yes. Do I think Miami can play a hell of a lot better. Yes I do. I think this team has a lot of potential. The way I see it if Miami can go 4-4 the first half of the year they are going to the playoffs(minus too many injuries).

Broncos mistakes?????
If anything it was Dolphin mistakes and miscues. The Dolphins won despite THREE turnovers and numerous pre snap penalties. How many of their drives started 1st and 15?
Those problems are correctable. If not for those problems it could very well have been a shutout.
This team has a lot of room for improvement, which is a scary thought if you are one of their opponents.

Yes Broncos made a lot of mistakes. A lot of dropped balls, a few missed routes and one really stupid decision that helped swing momentum to Miami's side.

Miami deserved to win that game, however I will not say that they beat a Broncos team playing at their full potential. I am hoping that Saban keeps their head into the games and continue to improve this team. If yesterday showed anything, it shows that playoffs are a possibility.

And the Broncos lost to a Dolphins team that was not playing to their full potential. Those 2 first half FG's could have been TD's if the offense had executed properly.

that is true, just saying that Miami needs to improve and I hope they do

I agree with everything he said except the losing to the jets part.
The broncos just played AWEFUL.
even if i pick the phins to lose against a certain team, no way im gonna give you a prediction of what the losing score is gonna be.
taking them to lose in a pool for money is one thing but you gotta draw the line somewhere.
