Can you say 49 points? / going for the throat

Jeez I mean check out his career statistics where this is involved. Unbelievable.

Carries 01-05: 3.5 ypc
Carries 06-10: 3.8 ypc
Carries 11-15: 3.9 ypc
Carries 16-20: 4.2 ypc
Carries 21-25: 5.0 ypc

1st Quarter: 3.6 ypc
2nd Quarter: 3.9 ypc
3rd Quarter: 3.9 ypc
4th Quarter: 3.9 ypc

I've really looked at a lot of other RBs ypc profiles as the game wears on and trust me, having a climbing ypc profile like this is pretty rare.

Eddie George....about as consistent a runner as you can find
Carries 01-05: 3.8 ypc
Carries 06-10: 3.5 ypc
Carries 11-15: 3.9 ypc
Carries 16-20: 3.8 ypc
Carries 21-25: 3.9 ypc

Curtis Martin....Usual profile for RBs...wearing down as you go. Very good back.
Carries 01-05: 4.1 ypc
Carries 06-10: 4.3 ypc
Carries 11-15: 4.3 ypc
Carries 16-20: 3.5 ypc
Carries 21-25: 3.4 ypc

Jerome Bettis....the RB most people compare Ricky to (good comparison).
Carries 01-05: 3.6 ypc
Carries 06-10: 4.1 ypc
Carries 11-15: 4.0 ypc
Carries 16-20: 4.7 ypc
Carries 21-25: 3.7 ypc

Marshall Faulk...different kinda back but as good as it gets.
Carries 01-05: 4.6 ypc
Carries 06-10: 4.0 ypc
Carries 11-15: 4.5 ypc
Carries 16-20: 4.4 ypc
Carries 21-25: 4.4 ypc

Corey Dillon...definitely a franchise back.
Carries 01-05: 4.2 ypc
Carries 06-10: 4.6 ypc
Carries 11-15: 4.8 ypc
Carries 16-20: 4.5 ypc
Carries 21-25: 3.8 ypc

A profile that climbs so steadily is pretty hard to find in an NFL runningback. One thing that definitely stands out though is the fact that Ricky's ypc in his 21st through 25th carries of the game, may be the highest among active NFL runningbacks that have any amount of career behind them...
