Ok....time to wake up folks! This is still a REBUILDING year. With every win we lose a draft spot.

GO FINS!

Finsfan84, uncalled for. Look, I am all about realism and the fact that we are rebuilding. This is a tough loss for us. However, if you want to lose games to improve our draft position, I think you have a twisted view of priorities.

We didn't lose a game today, we just got one game closer to drafting Crabtree lol

...I'll take a win thank you.

Pathetic? That's what I call a "fan" that wants to lose in October to improve draft position. Idiot? That's what I call a "fan" that thinks you need to draft high in order to draft well.

I knew it was gonna be a close game. Does anyone else think our last touchdown from brown hurt us? If he didnt score, and kept the clock running, we could have squeezed out as much time off the clock and make them burn timeouts, and kick a field goal with the least amount of time possible on the clock.

I know hindsight is 20/20, and you take a touchdown whenever you can get it.

But I feel in this situation, looking back, I would have taken the 3 points with alot more time off the clock and timeouts from houston.

It sure does seem to me that most teams that need a score at the end of a game at the very least put themselves in position to get that score. Why not curtail all this by running the ball a couple of times and kicking the winning field goal? Call me crazy but that's what I would do. I'd run the ball up the middle 3 times and run as much clock as possible. The Texans had ONE timeout left. Had we run a couple of more plays, the clock would've been under a minute. Of course, if you don't score a touchdown, then the Texans only need a field goal to win. Ah well, the game freakin sucked. Beating the Ravens and Bills would "almost" make up for it.
