Yeap, I especially loved the line about Miami having one of the best rushing attacks. I think in '84 they had a decent YPC but no one feared them.

The year before Marino they had Tony Nathan and Andra Franklin. They were decent, but hardly dominant. They had nothing else, that's why they lost to the Redskins. In the 2nd half they could not run the ball and had to resort to Woodley (0 for 8 in the 2nd half).
The idiot also refers to his career passer rating, which includes his last 5 yrs in the league when he had declined (as does every athlete). Did he look at Dan's stats during his first 10 yrs in the league. The whole article was biased and appeared the guy has an axe to grind.

..now...on his "who he'd take to start a team" comments...yep, just like everyone else he has his opinion and is entitled to it BUT to say you'd take BRADSHAW over Marino is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard...and all because he states in his article that Bradshaw had more RUSHING yards than Marino...rediculous.

To me what illustrated that writer's bias was in giving examples of QBs with SB rings he left out Bob Griese.
