Can't beleive the amount of attention...

Fins are getting plenty of positive press.

They were media darlings for decades during the Shula/Marino run and extended into the Johnson era, but kind of fell off a bit with Wannstedt.

Of course, it all means nothing. Fins have a large national fanbase and have typically been in the chase on an annual basis, but I kind of like the new underdog role we'll be seeing over the next few years.

No. Ricky Williams coming back is not bad press.

Look at all the other stuff we are getting press on. Do you have NFL network?

The other night Adam Schefter said "I would not want to be an AFC East coach having to face Nick Saban twice a year."

We have gotten so much positive press for the overhaul of the coaching staff, good free agent signings and draft, etc...

But you shallow minded bills fans refuse to aknowledge that, and only keep bringing up the McMichael situation. (which by the way, his trial will get a continuance and he will not miss any games this year.)
When did I keep bringing in the Mcmike situation. You probably have more posts than I regarding Randy. That would make you more shallow minded than I

You're one of the first teams to hold their camp. That's why you're getting attention. Yes, I have NFL network, that's how I know. It's also not hard to get positive press release when you are at the bottom. The Pats are at the top and they are getting bad press because what comes up must come down.

We'll have to wait and see how much attention your team get's once everyone else starts their camp.

Anything to report from Indy camp, Ether? Just curious..
Nothing really. Manning to left, to the right, across the middle, going deep. Fun to watch though, unless you're getting heckled by fans while wearing your Ronnie Brown jersey. Dallas Clark did make a couple of real nice catches. Marlin Jackson looked pretty good going up against Reggie Wayne.

Well, between a player crying at practice, Ricky coming back, and McMichael... it hasn't been all good press..

Also, there are no other teams in camp yet, maybe one.
No such thing as bad press...

that Miami is now getting. Last year we were one of the last teams that the national media would talk about and now we are on the front page of the ESPN NFL website http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/index
I like it better when I don't have to search a long ways to find stuff about Miami on a website like ESPN

First poor season in 12 years, getting RW back, new, considered-to-be-the-next-NFL genius head coach, getting RW back, having the #2 overall pick in the last draft, getting RW back, best assistant coaches money can buy...need I mention that we also got RW back ??
All this adds up to more media attention. Simple explanation...we'll have to wait until mid-season or so to see if it turns out good though...

Ah well, no surprise there. I'm sure Indy fans haven't forgotten the fins-colts games of the 90's, seing as they were kinda Dan Marino's B****.

Dude would you please get a life and go find a site supporting your own team! P.S. buffalo is in for long run of mediocracy at best, get used to it and stop being so bitter.

Not to defend Losman but the reasons of all the press are

1. Ricky Ricky Ricky. The media love everything about his story and him coming back was probably the biggest offseason topic in the NFL along with TO holding/not holding out for Philly

2. We were the second team to start camp. Yes most teams are now in camp but Monday was when all the ESPN,CNN.CBS etc. all kicked in their coverage so we had a step up on everyone

3. Saban is the new hot coach this year. People want to know how he will move from LSU to the NFL

In the coming days/week it will slow down (unless Saban makes someone else cry) then pick up with the Ronnie signing and will pick up even more with all the national press around us at the Hall of Fame game
