Hey guys it's nice to be here again..

Last week I saw Cutler play so bad and so stupidly, then at the press conference he almost gave ereryone the finger.... and still the staduim was rocking today and all Chicago Fans were rooting for ther team...

Tennessee lost last week and it was FULL people screaming and shouting... rooting for their team..

Buffalo lost badly last week against a division rival, and once again, the stadum was pretty full and LOUD!!!

I have been a dolfan since 1977 and in the past 10 years or so our stadium hasn't really made a difference..

I know we haven't really had a nice season for quite some time..

I live almost 1,600 miles away from Miami, But believe me guys, If I lived there in South Florida my life would revolve around the Dolphins, I'd be a season tcket holder.. NO DOUBT, I would go to the stadium and cheer and shout, I'm planning to go there sometime this fall and live the dream of my life which is GOING TO A MIAMI DOLPHINS FOOTBALL GAME...

Let me hear you guys GET LOUD TOMORROW AND GET IT GOING!!!!

GO DOLPHINS!!!!!

Dude you need some perspective. When you consider that 75% of the South Florida population are transplants I think we do really well. Do you think all those people give up their loyalty to their teams when they move to Florida? The fact that we still sell out games as much as we do I think proves we have the BEST fans in the league. I am so sick of people slamming our fans. I disagree. You guys rock!!!

Miami Dolphins football is life and the rest is details & I live about 2500 miles away.

I've heard it said about Miami and San Diego that because the weather is so nice that there are allegedly better things to do than football. Really?

Somehow, I doubt the Thurston Howell wannabes in the Palm Beach area will ever come anywhere near Landshark Stadium.

Its ironic about how many of you whined about all the minority owners & marketing gimmicks Ross has implemented in order to fully generate some interest among those who would not have anything to do w/ football.

Say what what you will about Browns, Steelers, & Bills fans... they are incredibly passionate and blindly loyal almost to a fault.

But, what do I know I'm one of the sparse & the incredibly loyal phins fans in the Mountain time zone?

With the entire league struggling to not blackout I think we are doing pretty well for ourselves. It's going to be very hard to have a strong home field advantage because so many people move to Miami from other cities. No one really moves to places like Buffalo and Tennessee.

I love the "bad" fan argument. There are no such thing as "bad" fans but rather homers and those who are realists.

You have some fans that are so blinded by their fandom that they cannot see through their rose colored glasses as to what is really going on. The eye in the sky doesn't lie as they say....

Case in point to common arguments on this site.

Pennington versus own arm strength..

Ronnie Brown versus the expected contribution of a #2 draft pick.....

Motion/wildcat offense versus conventional offense...

Execution versus whatever homer excuse....

However everyone has their own opinions no matter how annoying they are. It is what makes the world go around I guess...

The OP got owned by the owner.

I love the "fan" police. "You guys aren't good enough fans, not TRUE fans, like me."

I hope you're not implying the Original Poster was acting as the "fan police". Do you have some sort of insecurity about your own "fan-hood"?;) I think the OP has a point. The Dolphins have a strong fan base, but too many of the so called "fans". I don't think the OP implied this post toward any one person in particular (so the rest of the anti-fan police, please, put down your torches). Too often it has seemed that Miami home games would feature louder yelling and cheering from the 'few' opposing fans present. The Dolphins just don't seem to have that big of a home field advantage. I've watched Oakland Raider games on TV full of fan support and enthusiasm that would put many Dolphin home games to shame, and Oakland has been consistently crappier than the Dolphins in the last decade or so. The OP makes valid points. Dolphans should try to do whatever they can during tomorrow night's game to raise Hell and try to audibly disrupt Manning and his offense. Let's give Peyton and Co. a nice warm welcome to Miami:up:

**Just to be clear, I don't want to be misunderstood in any way as saying that Miami has a poor fanbase. I think the Dolphins truly have a great group of fans, but I make my point in relation more to the kind of homefield advantage (or lackthereof) found at Dolphin (err, Landshark) Stadium. Like the OP, I just think the stadium could get a heck of a lot louder and more hostile. We could benefit from some of the idiotic, blind homerism featured in the fanbases of other teams (like the Eagles for example) where homefield advantage usually means something.

The one thing I have to say is that we can't **** on our team and we have to be loyal. Look at the Stealers and Giants even when they suck and trust me they have sucked...thier fans remain loyal and true. I love the Fins and if I lived in Miami you can count that I would be a season ticket holder. I hate watching a game and seeing the stadium split...look at successful teams they have the homefield advantage. If you go to a Giants or Stealers game the other teams fans are not a factor.

If we start winning FANS will come. I watch every game every year from my house in Alabama. Fans look like they are rockin in Landshark sta. I wish I was there. Keep the faith. We have a strong fan base all over.
GO FINS

I think you can be as negative as you want about your team Monday through Saturday as long as you are cheering for the Fins on Sundays.

guys, I am a season ticket holder, section 443, row 21, so I WILL be there tomorrow night, and yes I am expecting a great turn out. Our playoff game last year was incredible, the fan support was awesome, so yes winning does fill stadiums. But let's be honest, Colin Cowherd puts it best, home field advantage is more successful in college than pro. Case in point Dallas just had close to 100,000 people in their new stadium and the Giants just won. I think a large crowd in conducive to a positive atmosphere for the team, does it effect the outcome maybe, at best. On the flip side did the Jets fans help beat New England today, I would say it was more the Jets defense. I think a home crowd will fire up the team more than take the visiting team out of their game plan. All in all I love a filled stadium, even if it does take an entire half to get a drink and take a piss.

dolphins fans whine all the time, they boycott stupid things like songs and celeb owners. its pretty bad. When i went to a game though there were some pretty HARDCORE fans...but also alotta ppl still complaining about everything insteada cheering. I dont get it.
